    Before watching this I had no idea that they'd ever faced each other in the days before Kane. The Taker obviously thought that his brother was dead because Paul Bearer had yet to reveal the truth. The story all makes sense as long as you don't think about it too much.

    Your winner is Genichiro Tenryu, Ashura Hara & Ultimo Dragon vs. Jim Duggan, Jerry Estrada & Kamala from WAR's older sister SWS. Duggan, Estrada and Kamala get top marks for randomness. The native team makes sense in that one though. Here you've got 6 foreign wrestlers in Japan for starters. The Eliminators and Garza were practically unknowns in Japan and had nothing to do with each other. On the other side 3 randomly assigned legends.

    It's hard to imagine this type of match happening in any other promotion worldwide. They'd be inundated with complaints and quite possibly thrown off TV. I don't think that's a bad thing either.

    He got me once, but I was prepared with the mute button for the chalkboard scraping after that. I can remember some boring lecturers from my University days, but nobody was as dull as this Dean Douglas character.

    God Bless John Tenta. He gets given the most absurd gimmick imaginable and he comes out and cuts this fantastically energetic promo, putting everything into it.

    Okay it's a little wooden but I enjoyed this actually. Severn was so straight laced and unpretentious that it's a welcome change from your typical wrestler promo.

    With all the goofy gimmicks going down we may as well have a serial killer. That's what the audience is lead to believe anyway. If Vince Russo had done this Mercy would've been talking about victims in his promos and murdering people in vignettes.
