What's next for you?
The process doesn't end for me. I'll keep working my way down the list of nominees. Right now I'm still on 'D', so I have a long way to go, and a lot more wrestling to watch before I feel I can say with confidence 'these are the 100 greatest wrestlers ever'. Of course, I'll slow down a bit, and will probably make room for other watching. But I'm not burnt out on this project or close to it.

Kofi Kingston
I'd probably rather watch Kofi than John Morrison, for whatever that's worth.
- PWO/GWE March Madness

Owen Hart
Owen may be the ultimate 'fun' wrestler, thinking about it.
-
Chris Masters
I've watched a few early Masters matches lately as I go through all the WWE pay-per-views, and he actually got pretty decent pretty quickly. You watch him in the match with Shawn Michaels, and he's a very effective power wrestler. There's a Matt Hardy/Mysterio Vs Masters/Snitsky match that is a bit of a hidden gem too.

Owen Hart
People like his stuff with Shamrock, the Euro title final against Bulldog and a couple of tags with Davey (vs Furnas/LaFon, vs Shawn and Austin). The match with Shawn on the ppv before Mania 12 is well thought of. I don't think he's a guy with a lot of great matches, but he usually does lots of cool things in his matches to make him stand out. Good character work.

Shane McMahon returns to WWE
I think if Steph stayed off TV for a long period of time, and then returned in similar fashion, as a de facto face standing up to heels who were running the family business into the ground, she would get a massive pop too. Not as big as Shane's, but Shane has more good will with the fans than Steph. But the fact is the McMahons are seen as big deal, game-changer type stars by most viewers.

What Current WWE Active Roster Members Will Make Your Ballot?
Goldust. Possibly Jericho.

WWE TV 2/22 - 2/28/16
I was at Raw. Pop for Shane was insane. The reveal of Shane/Taker at Mania seemed to get a bit of a WTF reaction. There was a 'holy shit' chant, but also a lot of people seemed to see it as a letdown. People around me were commenting that it was a waste of Taker. Reigns was heavily booed all night, even when he appeared on the video screen in like promotional stuff. Easily the most hated guy on the show. He did have pockets of support around the arena though, and I probably saw more Reigns shirts than of any other wrestler. Some of the anti-Reigns sentiment was so obnoxious that I was cheering for him, even though I'm not a fan really. HHH's response was depressingly positive. New Day were very over, and there were a lot of unicorn horns in the crowd. Sasha got a pop for her entrance, but the crowd didn't seem too interested in the match. There were people around me acting like it was a Torrie Wilson match or something, which makes me think it's going to take a lot to really get these girls over to the general audience like some of us here would probably like. Nobody really liked the 6-man either. Jericho and AJ were both really over. It seems like all of this was evident from watching on TV, but just thought I'd share how it came across in the arena.

When did Jericho become a tool?
I thought he was a tool after reading his first book. I enjoyed it, but he came off as a very immature guy with an alcohol problem.

Is The Undertaker in your top 100?
At his peak he wasn't good enough to make the list, and I don't see him hitting that peak for a terribly long period. It's confused a little by the fact that his best spells came in pockets over several years, which gives him the illusion of having longevity as a great worker, which I don't think he has.

Who is going to win the Vincent J. McMahon award?
I'm just so tired of seeing the McMahons and Triple H that even if this does turn out to be good pro wrestling jiggery pokery, I just can't see myself enjoying it. I hope I'm wrong though as I'm going to the show tonight.

Bret Hart v. Shawn Michaels - a feud or a rivalry?
They were clearly feuding in 97. Don't know how anyone can argue that. 96 probably wasn't really a feud. 92 probably was. It was a rivalry made up of 2 or more separate feuds.

If You Could Take Only 3 Matches To A Desert Island...
The Hart Foundation Vs Steve Austin, Goldust, Ken Shamrock and the Legion of Doom: I mentioned in the Hart/Austin feud thread that this was my favourite time to be a wrestling fan, and this was really the absolute zenith of that period/feud/storyline for me. Everything about this was pretty much perfect, from the incredible crowd (I love them losing their shit for Pillman's dirty cheating), the story that plays out, the post-match celebration, and the fact that the good guys won, of course. At this time I had a friend of mine who taped wrestling for me, and I vividly remember sneakily staying up past my bedtime on a school night to finish watching this match, and just being so happy that my guys won. I couldn't not have this match available to watch. Ultimo Dragon Vs Shinjiro Ohtani: I think this was the first Ohtani match I ever saw, and I was immediately a huge fan. So easy to get caught up in his personality, not to mention his incredible execution. I consider this to be pretty much a perfect match, the highpoint of the NJ juniors style, another great crowd, and you just can't beat the first time you saw one of your favourites, which Ohtani definitely is. Is it a cheat to take one of the big gauntlet matches from the NJ set? Because those give you both quality and quantity, and are like a bunch of matches in one. I could pick Bret/Austin WM13 as that's also one of my favourite matches. But then I already have the 10-man, and it would probably be wise to represent some different styles and eras if possible. Jumbo Vs Bockwinkel with Terry Funk as ref is another one of my absolute favourites. A real wrestling clinic with the added bonus of Funk's shenanigans. I'm probably forgetting a bunch of other stuff, but in the end I'm going to show some recency bias and go with Blue Panther Vs Villano V mask vs mask: I only watched this while swotting for the GWE project, and have only seen it once, but I just had so much fun with this, and it's rare that I watch a new match now and just mark out so unabashedly (actually that's not true- I mark out for stuff I've never seen before all the time, but rarely to this level). This just blew me away from Perrito's second work, to Panther's barrage of dives, to the surprising (to me at least) finish. And it doesn't hurt to have some lucha with me, does it?

How do you want the results?
Results should definitely be revealed on the board.

Bret Hart vs Steve Austin
This feud, and then leading into the Hart Foundation Vs America feud, will always be my favourite feud. Bret is my favourite wrestler ever, 1997 is my favourite year ever to be a fan, the Canadian Stampede 10-man is my favourite match ever. I mean, this stuff will never be topped for me. It was just a perfect storm of a great story with great performers lining up so perfectly with where I was in my life, how I viewed wrestling, and really how I viewed the world. It's at the least the best WWF feud ever.

Is Shawn Michaels in your Top 100?
I find peak Shawn to be good at laying the table, but not so good when it comes to serving a satisfying meal.

WWE TV January 25 to 31
I know he broke Edge's jaw. And of course crushed Hunter's throat.
-
WWE vs Lana
Isn't Kidman and Torrie the one usually brought up for that. The idea that Torrie married below her station or something, so they booked her to be with other guys.
-
WrestleMania 32
In Triple H's mind, the sign should point to him.
-
Royal Rumble 2016
I thought that rumble match was probably worse than the last two, to be honest. Scary that, at a time when they desperately need to build new stars, the rumble winner is Triple H, and the workhorse spot goes to Chris Jericho.
-
WrestleMania 32
I think Brock going against Bray could be great. The personalities mesh well, and they're both guys whose gimmicks are largely based around inspiring fear in their opponents, and not themselves being afraid of anything, which makes an interesting dynamic.
-
Has anyone finished the project?
I plan on submitting a list, but, at the rate I'm currently going, I won't actually be finished with this project until 2020.

Wrestling Fan New Years Resolutions For 2016
