Austin Aries
Great in TNA in 2012. The rest of his career I'll need to investigate. Right now, he's not a candidate.
-
Brian Pillman
I agree with Dylan. From 89-92 he was incredible. One of the best US tag workers of all time. Had an all-time mid-card feud with Luger, great light heavyweight feud with Liger, and was a highlight in 95 WCW. Should make my bottom 25 or so.
-
CM Punk
When he cared, he was great. When he didn't, God help us. Showed that he could excel in characterization within a match and storytelling. Underrated seller as a babyface. Great heel in his big feuds with Rey and Cena. He might make my bottom 10 or so. May move a little higher if I see his indie stuff.

Big Show
Underrated big man. Probably has been overexposed which is a shame. He's been a high point in modern WWE since his return in 2008. Has some high points before that including Lesnar series in 02-03 and some fun garbage matches in 06 WWECW. It'll be hard for him to make my list, I doubt he will. I won't shut the door on him just yet.
-
Bully Ray
He's managed to excel in TNA at times, which is impressive no matter what, but I don't see Bubba making my list. He has his moments in ECW and WWE, but they're too short or minor to make up for all the bad or average over the years.

Rey Mysterio Jr.
Possible top 5. Incredibly gifted worker. High spot machine in the 90s. All-time great seller in the 2000s. Possibly the most good TV matches on tape of all time.
-
Sami Callihan
Well, he was the best wrestler in the world a few years ago, so he has to be in consideration. He had a pretty hard hitting style in the indies, but he was also very good at putting matches together and carrying stiffs. He very likely won't make my list, but I can't rule him out completely.
-
Ultimate Warrior
Warrior won't be anywhere close to my list, but I do find his best matches to be legitimately great and they weren't all his opponent doing the work for him. Of course, WWF match layouts may have been a part of that as well, but he did well in those matches if you ask me. He's far from my list though.

Who is in Your Top 100 Right Now?
Ah hell, I might as well do what Parv did and break it down similarly. 70s - This is a priority. I haven't seen any of the 70s classics minus the Funks-Abby/Sheik feud and Buddy Rose stuff. 80s JCP - I have seen the 89 stuff. Everything else is a priority. I've got to watch that stuff. I have seen some of the Flair classics, but there's too much other big stuff out there. Candidates (Flair, Arn, Tully, Windham, Garvin, Eaton, Morton, Rogers, Luger, Wahoo, there's plenty of others, but I'm lazy right now) WWF - I have seen a ton of 84-89. Pre-84 is what I need to see. Candidates (Hogan, Piper, Orndorff, Savage, Steamboat, Valentine, Santana, etc.) AJPW - Sort of been working on that lately. I've have a little bit to go on that. Candidates (Jumbo, Tenryu, Yatsu, Hansen, Funk, etc.) NJPW - I have a lot to go here. I've seen the classics (gauntlets, elimination tags, etc.). Candidates (Fujinami, Choshu, Fujiwara, etc.) Memphis - Another dead spot. I've seen a few of the Lawler classics. Candidates (Lawler, Dundee, Mantel, etc.) Puerto Rico - I've seen a lot of it. There's a few things I still need to see. Candidates (Colon, Invader I, etc.) Portland - I've seen a ton of it involving Buddy up to 85. The rest is pretty bad with the exception of a few things I here. Candidates (Buddy, Wiskowski) Mid-South - Total novice. I'm not sure I've ever seen a Mid-South match in my life. I know it's awful. Candidates (This will have names in them one day or I've failed) World Class - I've seen the classics. There's probably a few more things I need to see. Candidates (Kerry, Kevin, Gordy, Hayes, etc.) Lucha - I have the set. Should finish it before the next 18 months. Candidates (Chicana, Cota, Santo, Villano III, Atlantis, Satanico, etc.) AWA - Watched it all. Great stuff. Candidates (Bock, Hennig, Blackwell, Slaughter, Saito, Jannetty, Michaels, etc.) Joshi - I've seen that Dump-Chigasu match before. Maybe. Candidates (This will have names one day as well) Europe - Worse than Mid-South. Candidates (This must have names) Georgia/Florida/Southwest/Southeast/St. Louis - Maybe a few matches, but other than that I'm new to it all. (I won't leave you out either other territories) 90s WWF - I've seen a shit ton of it. There's probably a few things I need to see. Candidates (Bret, Owen, Austin, etc.) WCW - There's probably nothing I need to see. I might re-watch some things though. Candidates (Vader, Pillman, Regal, Finlay, Benoit, Eddie, etc.) ECW - I've seen some of the pimped stuff. There's a few things I'd still like to see. Candidates (2 Cold Scorpio) SMW - I have seen some of it. Kind of the same boat as ECW. (A lot of the same guys from elsewhere, maybe I'll add a name or too) AJPW - I've seen a lot of the classics. There's still a few I need to see. (Misawa, Kawada, Kobashi, Taue, Akiyama, Kikuchi, Fuchi, etc.) NJPW - I need to get on this. (Hash, Hase, Muto, etc.) Joshi - I've seen a few of the classics. There's still a lot I need to see. (Aja, Bull, Hokuto, etc.) Puerto Rico - I here there's some hidden gems here. Probably worth checking out. (Not sure yet) Lucha - I've seen some 90s lucha. There's still a lot out there for me to see. (Dandy, Casas, Panther, etc.) Other stuff - I like shootstyle so I should check that stuff out. There might be some good indies stuff too. (This will have to wait and see) 2000s WWF/E - Been there done that. Of course, I'll probably re-watch a few things to refresh my memory. (Rey, Cena, Bryan, Punk, Christian, etc.) TNA - I've seen the few matches that I feel I need to watch. The rest would be for specific workers only. (Styles, Joe, Aries, etc.) Indies - Recently, I've seen a lot. Peak ROH, IWA-MS? I have a long road to go. (Don't no yet) Lucha - In the last few years, I'm golden. Earlier parts of the decade I need to check out. (Virus, maybe others) Japan - Same as lucha. (Maybe, but I don't know yet)

[GWE] What skillsets and experiences do you value?
Versatility is a big thing for me however I won't penalize people like Colon and Onita for mastering a style even if they rarely if ever deviate from it.

Current WWE
Bray-Jericho in a cage competing with Calvin Johnson making circus catches is a blowout. Of course, I'm that guy who will be watching Bray-Jericho in a cage.
-
Greatest of All-Time project Interest?
I'm absolutely in on this, but it's to require a lot of re-watching. Of course, I have gaps to fill as well, particularly in the 80s, but I'll need to re-watch some things to reevaluate certain workers. There's plenty of time in front of us to accomplish all of that which is great.

Call for papers of possible interest to PWOers
I wrote a paper in Mass Media Perspectives on cultural stereotypes in professional wrestling about two years ago. Of course, it focused more on the negative than the positive.

Summerslam 2014
The only options they have at this point are Cena getting revenge in a rubber match or Bryan returning. Every other option is unbelievable. This is risky business no matter what. I have no clue where they're going with this.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Fatal Four Way (WWE Title) - Too much finisher trading at the end. It was a fucking video game.
-
WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Tonight is a good example to back up the theory of "WWE pushes someone and then has them lose over and over again to see if they're one of the boys."
-
WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Battle Royal (IC Title) - Real fun battle royal. The finish was predictable.
-
WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Jericho vs. Bray - Jericho was terrible. And that finish was bad. Simply awful.
-
WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
That segment sucked. If Ambrose broke threw security once, he can do it again. If you book a guy to get thrown out of the building, throw him out of the fuckin' building.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Rusev vs. Swagger - Fun match with a surprising finish. I guess this feud will go a little longer.
-
WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
AJ vs. Paige (WWE Diva's Title) - Eh, I didn't care for this.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Oh my God this company.
