[1994-04-30-SMW-TV] Interview: Bob Armstrong / Interview: Jake Roberts / Interview: Dirty White Boy
Jake cuts a great promo here reviewing his career. DWB has an eyepatch from a previous altercation and cuts a solid promo. Pretty good stuff.

[1994-04-30-WCW-Worldwide] Ric Flair vs Steven Regal
Jesse hates Marines. And this is really great too. I'd say the last two rounds were the best as there was more fire and aggression in everything they did. Flair's post-match promo was awesome as well. Both guys did an exceptional job. This shouldn't be overlooked. Excellent demonstration of mat work and aggressiveness. It's a very impressive "match."

[1994-04-30-WCW-Worldwide] Vader vs Cactus Jack (Texas Death)
This was good for a death match sprint. Vader took a nice beating and bumped well then powerbombed Cactus on the floor to win. I was satisfied but yeah Worldwide isn't the place to have this kind of match.

[1994-04-25-USWA-Mid South Coliseum, TN] Jerry Lawler vs Dream Machine (Coward's Way Out)
This was a tremendous fight. Both motherfuckers just duked it out and bled hardway. The back and forth in the corner was awesome and just looked intense as hell. The finish was excellent as Lawler is getting his face smashed in against the ring post and throws a fireball in DM's face. DM runs to the back and Lawler wins. This was a pleasant gem and a fantastic one at that.

The "IWC" phenomenon
Yeah, there are a lot of people with similar ideas that Mr. Wrestling X mentioned. Of course, no one is willing to go search these people or posters, etc. and neither am I. I find the term to be stupid as hell and it means nothing at all to me. So that's my two cents.

[1994-04-19-ECW-TV] Terry Funk vs Sabu
This was a great performance by Terry again. He knows how to work around Sabu's stupidity because he can deliver his own mentally disturbing and stupid things. Terry tried to piledrive Sabu from the second rope onto a chair. That is insane as fuck. Terry is about to win but has to get rid of a bunch of Paul E. and Sabu's handlers. A third handler comes in and takes out Terry with a neckbreaker and beautiful flying elbow. Sabu wins the match and the handler is revealed to be Bobby Eaton. They beat down Terry until Arn Anderson runs down to make the save. This was a lot of fun accompanied with a very good match. Great stuff.

[1994-04-17-WCW-Spring Stampede] Ric Flair vs Ricky Steamboat
I think Loss really nailed it on the head here. The struggles for basic mat holds is something I've grown to love but the crowd wasn't very in tune with what they were doing. The few times they were on the floor felt like a big step in the direction they needed to go but they refrained from that right when it was starting to click. Steamboat's lack of fans hurt this some because I think WCW was banking on it being a split crowd or a Steamboat crowd. This was still an excellent match and was the best of the night but it certainly didn't fit the picture of professional wrestling in 1994 when you look at what other matches were on the card. I liked it a good bit but it definitely was placed in a time where fans weren't as invested in something like that anymore.

[1994-04-17-WCW-Spring Stampede] Vader vs The Boss
Vader was fantastic in this match taking an insane guard rail bump, colliding with Harley on the ramp, attempting a leaping splash from the ramp into the ring, throwing nasty puches, and winning the match with a top rope moonsault. Bossman was good too as he literally beat the shit out of Vader making him bleed from the eye and mouth and doing some impressive offensive strength moves. This was one hell of a performance from Vader and quite an impressive big man fight.
