[1994-04-17-WCW-Spring Stampede] Cactus Jack & Maxx Payne vs Nasty Boys
I LOVE this match. What a fucking insane brawl! Mick's bump off the ramp followed by the shovel to the head execution style is a tremendous and horrifying finish. It went 10 minutes but dammit it doesn't need more than that. They were killing one of other. Man, what a wild match this was. Great, great, brutality.

This was okay. Shawn is becoming increasingly annoying as these segments continue.

[1994-04-16-NJPW-Super J Cup] Wild Pegasus vs Great Sasuke
This was pretty great. I like the Liger match a little bit more but this was still top notch stuff. I really like the underdog story of Sasuke in these matches because it keeps an interest throughout the entire tournament. The J Cup delivered for sure and I enjoyed these last three matches.

[1994-04-16-NJPW-Super J Cup] Jushin Liger vs Great Sasuke
Liger is playing heel here and rules at it. He dominants Sasuke on the mat, hurt his arm, and kills him with various moves. Sasuke is great in this but Liger is really outstanding and proof of that is the finish as Sasuke slips on the ropes and Liger just claps, points, and laughs at him only to be caught by surprise and lose in the end. This was a great performance by Sasuke and a really great performance from Liger.

[1994-04-16-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Steve Williams vs Toshiaki Kawada
Tremendous match with equally tremendous performances. Doc is untouchable in this with his performance. His mannerisms, facial expressions, and the way he mocks Kawada are all exceptional traits he has in this. Kawada knows every move Doc is going for and calculates when and where he might strike with them. The match has brilliant structure and excellent build. Each one of Doc's finishers is taken seriously and built up magnificently. Kawada weathers the storm and successfully avoids the second storm. In the end it takes him three powerbombs to put away Doc to win the CC. Absolutely fabulous match!

[1994-04-16-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi & Jun Akiyama vs Stan Hansen & Giant Baba & Takao Omori
I thought this was a lot of fun and a very good match. Baba was watchable in this and I enjoyed the Hansen-Kobashi exchanges. The finish was insane and I couldn't believe the shit when I saw it. However, there were parts in this that dragged and Misawa, Jun, and Omori could have had better nights. This was still an exciting and very good match though.

[1994-04-15-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Steve Williams vs Kenta Kobashi
I thought this was tremendous. Each guy struggled to get their big moves and it took a lot out of them each time. Kobashi took some insane bumps in this match and was really excellent in this. Doc was great in this as well. The back drop driver proved it's worth once again in the finish. Terrific match.

[1994-04-14-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Stan Hansen vs Steve Williams
Both guys are really great in this but I agree that the middle was lacking. I think the match could have been shortened to 10-12 minutes and it would have delivered much better. I loved the beginning of the match and the closing minutes rocked so that makes this one still worthwhile and very good to great as well.

[1994-04-11-WWF-Raw] King's Court
This was hilarious. Lawler gets dropped by the peasants carrying him who consisted of D-Lo Brown and Duane Gill. That itself is tremendous. When one takes into account Lawler's great bump on the fall into the apron and Savage's commentary it's really tremendous.

[1994-04-11-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Mitsuharu Misawa vs Toshiaki Kawada
This was a very good to great match between these two. It's a lot of basic wrestling and it's at a much slower pace but I liked it. Misawa's comebacks were spaced well and Kawada put on his usual outstanding performance. This doesn't compare for what's to come but I was satisfied for sure.

[1994-04-11-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Stan Hansen vs Akira Taue
Hansen is exceptionally great in this match. His performance throughout is something else. Taue's offense is very limited but it didn't really hurt this match because he did what was needed which was to focus on Hansen's ribs. However, Taue still has some weak looking offense even in targeting Hansen which downgrades the match some. I definitely prefer the Kobashi match as it is the match where Hansen is injured and Kobashi's offense seems and is more effective. This was still a great match with a phenomenal performance from Hansen.

[1994-04-10-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Stan Hansen vs Kenta Kobashi
This was fantastic! Hansen gets pissed off and pummels Kobashi with a table and powerbombs him on the floor. Hansen makes a mistake and goes rib first into the guardrail. Kobashi targets the ribs for the rest of the match and Hansen tries his best to fight back even getting in the lariat but can't make the cover due to the pain in his ribs. Kobashi wins with two moonsaults and the crowds loves it. This absolutely ruled.

Mick cuts a solid promo. I can't here him because the production crew are assholes. Decent segment hurt by production bastards.

Pretty good promo by Flair here. He focuses on his opponent Steamboat rather than Hogan finally. The Worldwide set is cool looking. Solid segment.
