I don't know what Waller's ceiling but he didn't feel at all out of place or lost in the moment sharing a ring with Cena. Dude has the confidence and composure to handle any setting. If Theory were built like Brock I'd understand the fascination, but that ain't the case.

Most lucha from this era featuring flyers hasn't help up very well for me as the athleticism and spots have been eclipsed and then some. But this sported a nice structure and strong babyface/heel performances and benefited greatly as a result.

Perhaps its a sign I am now an old and a crank, but I do not get LA Knight. At all. He looks and sounds like generic JAG every time I see him and doesn't come across like a threat to anyone in the ring. Maybe he'll kill himself at MITB and it'll flip the switch for me but it has yet to happen.

I got into wrestling shortly after his peak in WWF but his boots were probably the one thing that screamed heel and stuck with me as a kid until Savage's turn. Good times!

That was awesome. But what was that finish and why was it the same as Dar/Dragon Lee? Why did they throw in the towel on this show? Why does Ava Raine walk like she needs Andre's braces from his last babyface run?

The first half of this show has ensured I make an early exit for Succession, but if these Tom Clancy heels somehow slow down the glory that is Creed I will be very upset. Rocketstrap the both of these beasts.

Not trying to crap all over this show, but I feel like the 4 minute Ilja/Dijak on TV was hotter and a better brawl. This match has had some impressive spots and sound effects but is coming across more as a checklist of gimmicks to hit rather than a cohesive match.

That was quite the overbooked outing. Dar doesn't impress me much and I'm not sure I see the value in slotting him against Lee and grounding one of the most athletic and explosive workers on the roster.

Here for this until I decide its Succession time. DoN will happen tomorrow. Joe Gacy remains less than zero for me.

AJ/Rollins was pretty damn good. A lot better than I expected.

Anarchy in the Arena should be great and at the end of the day I'm sure Jericho/Cole and the main event will deliver in the ring. But this feels like one of AEW's weakest PPV's in years. The main event has had an awful build and somehow been a detriment to everyone involved. Zero interest in the tag titles, Wardlow/Christian and Jade/Taya matches. On the other hand, we've got Forbidden Door, All In, hopefully some G1 involvement and big summer ahead. Hopefully the title program gets a proper focus after this cycle.

How's the doc/dvd about him on Peacock?

This is a fact. The travel is easy and with the ability to run a double shot every time out it should have its place on the calendar as long as they don't burn out the market. On the other hand I get it if they're only able to tap payoffs from a place like that every so often.

He has enough great matches, and in many cases truly all time great matches, against such a wide variety of opponents that I can't see him falling out of the top half of my list.
