I'm pretty sure their only matches in recent months to go longer than 9-10 minutes were 2/3 Falls against Gable/Benjamin at the Rumble, a 4 way at Clash of Champions, Cesaro/Sheamus at Survivor Series and New day at HIAC.

I've been wondering about this. If they actually work the GREATEST ROYAL RUMBLE EVER like a Royal Rumble, you're talking over 90 minutes for that match alone, closer to 2 hours if its not rushed (which it will be). Going to be a late Friday night.

The Evolve shows are solid but the WWN Supershow was by far my favorite indie show of the weekend. Will write too much or too little (most likely) about everything I've watched from the weekend once I finish a couple other shows, but Ospreay/Riddle was the best match I saw all weekend other than Ciampa/Gargano, and everything on the show other than the women's match was good.

What a freaking main event.

It really stood out here. So simple, yet new and varied. Loved it.

And Orton is the questionable ball four to break up a perfect game. We'll see if they can maintain the no hitter.

Now that's an idea I'm on board with. You worry creative would quickly use a singles push to force a split, but I don't recall them a serious singles push for an active tag wrestler, so it'd be incredibly fresh.

Is that a bad thing given the time most of their matches get?

Bite your tongue! You know they'll get lost in the shuffle. At least this way there's an opportunity for them to be featured.

So I missed it because I went to bed as soon as the recap video started playing, but apparently when that wrapped up they went back to Reigns recovering and make his way back on the ramp. Any thoughts what that's about? Seems odd to put that kind of focus on him there.

Guys, if someone in the thread isn't speaking about the topic at hand or contributing to the discussion it may be easier to let said person speak without any kind of response. Less back and forth and it'll eventually fade away. Much like the crimson mask that Roman Reigns sported last night en route to a tremendous win. I still can't believe that finish. I'll be tuned in tonight, tomorrow, next week and every other week barring scheduling conflicts (maybe some DVR nights during NBA playoffs) because that's what I do, but that finish felt like the ultimate slap in the face after all of the Roman booking over the last few years. Can't quite put my finger on just why it feels different right now, but I'm not even hot over it. Just deflated and not even interested in the next churn right now.

You assume people care about Brock right now in a manor that isn't "at least it isn't Reigns" You may be right, but after this many hours, and year after year of shows this long with similar reactions over the course of the night, I think its a fair question.

I can't believe the crowd didn't pop for Brock kicking out of the spear. At some point they have to rethink a 7 hour show. If crowd reactions are of any concern.

Alright, Summerslam 2014 was fun but that's not what I'm looking for tonight.
