[2018-03-25-NJPW-Strong Style Evolved] Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) vs Young Bucks
This was just too damn long man. For every insane shit they did, they dragged it with bad acting and story I couldn't quite get into - the Bucks pretty much working babyface and Matt doing the best face performance since Gargano while Kenny struggles to leave them behind and do what it takes for the W - but the action was too damn fun to watch to not give this some deserved props. If this was 20 minutes I would probably be losing my shit right now but oh well, the match is clearly not meant for me in that regard.

Bryan Danielson's in ring ability
To add to the AJ vs Bryan thing: who had the better Cena match? I lean towards D-Bry/Cena mainly because it didn't have all the annoying PWG Cena stuff AJ had to deal with, though I can't say I can fault Styles for that.

[2018-02-27-BJW] Daichi Hashimoto vs Yasufumi Nakanoue
Not even sure how to explain why this match works besides "Korakuen magic", there's some stuff they do that doesn't make a lot of sense, and the selling was spotty. Nakanoue's performance varied from holy shit amazing to "not sure why he did that", but the crowd fucking buys in on everything he does. By the halfway mark they want a new champ and they BELIEVE Nakanoue can pull it off. The atmosphere minimizes the flaws this match has imo, it's not a MOTYC but I'd still recommend it just to see Korakuen elevate a match like only that place can.

I think that's what Dave was referring to actually.

[2018-03-21-BJW] Takuya Nomura vs Yuya Aoki
The Strong Climb tournament has been fun as fuck so far. A bunch of 8-12 minutes matches that are so enjoyable to watch and very unique from one another, and with some very clever finishes. But anyway, this match, So far this year we've seen Nomura (24 years old) having a "leap year" of sorts in terms of performances and in ring presence by being a feisty young guy that does not give a fuck about anything and will take it to anyone that's put in front on him. Well, what happens then when he's paired up with a guy like Aoki, who is only 21 years old and he also has a chip on his shoulder and wants to show HE is the promising star of the promotion? We get a dope fucking match, that's what happens. Man, if you would've told me Nomura fucked Aoki's girlfriend and Yuya found out on social media 10 minutes before the ball rang I would've believed it because HOLY FUCK at some of the strikes and suplexes he hits in this, no regard whatsoever for Nomura's well being. A very, very basic match with another "out of nowhere" finish that I couldn't help but love because of the roles these two portrayed, the hate and the strikes. And of course, all in just 10 minutes!

[2018-03-08-BJW] Daichi Hashimoto vs Takuya Nomura
Day 1 of the Strong Climb tournament. After watching these two develop over their young careers, I felt like a proud dad watching this. Daichi starts the match thinking he might pull this of off the strength of him being the champ and Nomura still being below him on the totem pole. But Takuya has had some really tough tests coming into the tournament against Abe and Togo so he has NO TIME for Daichi's laziness, he kicks and bitchslaps Hashimoto like he ain't shit, forcing the champ to take him seriously from the get go. There's a ton to love about this, from the crowd LOVING Nomura from minute zero and craving for an upset to Daichi's selling and portrayal of a legit champ - I almost shed a tear when he did the "get pissed off and karate chop THE FUCK outta your opponent to show him who you are" spot that his daddy did so fucking well - to Nomura's fire and not give a fuck attitude. He knows he's faced stronger competition than Daichi so he fucking goes for the W like a madman. Finish could've been a little better but it served it's purpose.

Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to the ring...
I never bought the Reigns thing either. And I honestly don't think it's a conspiracy, I just believe health wasn't the main factor in all of this.

Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to the ring...
- I know, that's why I said Maroon was the one who's credibility was on the line. He was the only one saying no even though a whole bunch of his colleagues disagreed with his decision in one way or another. - I guess I'm just more cynical about the whole deal. I have a hard time believing Bryan is a special case, we just know more about his issues because he's told us about them a bunch of times. And D-Bry will be a part timer too, his whole quest to make a return was based on him wanting to work but on a lighter schedule. And even if it is just 1 match a year, you are still allowing people who's had a dangerous history of concussions - specially Dreamer - to get fucked up, it only takes 1 bump. There's no doubt Bryan is the guinea pig in all of this, I just doubt the sincerity of him being it. I do admit that at the end of the day, all that matters is the fact that all this trouble is for his well being, so WWE's "good intentions" on the issue are kinda meaningless.

Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to the ring...
I don't understand this part, for two years doctors from different places - some recommended by WWE - have cleared him and Maroon said no, he's the only one whose credibility has been put into question and the one who has a very fishy past when it comes to concussion issues. Eventually Bryan says fuck it and asks Maroon who else does he need approval from, he goes to each doc and once again gets cleared. Then Maroon finally gives the OK. I'd agree with you if every wrestler with a concussion history would've had to go through the same troubles Bryan had but that hasn't been the case at all. Guys like Dreamer, Angle, Ziggler and Taker (and lord knows how many else) didn't go to several doctors, got cleared by them and still got a NO from Maroon. The fact that Bryan is the only one that has had to prove he's fine over and over and over again leads to believe there's more the story than WWE just being worried about him. Makes sense. Shouldn't that be done with every wrestler though, ideally? I also wonder if Bryan would be stubborn enough that if he gets another concussion, he once again goes to take tests from doctors, and once again they say to him he's fine. And it's the same story all over again.

Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to the ring...
Seems like Davies has little knowledge of Bryan's process, tests and doctors he's visited before these last two months and gotten clearance from.. He also admits he has no clue about the tests he's gotten.. He pretty much just read WWE's statement and wrote about his impression of the situation without knowing anything about it besides the press release. Weird article. Hell, even Chris Nowinski said he was OK with the decision after reading Cantu cleared him. I have no doubt that WWE's decision had more to do with other stuff besides Bryan's health, but to put into question so many doctors over the span of two years without showing any knowledge of what was done or what tests showed seems like a very lazy and kind of irresponsible - considering it was written by a doctor - point of view.

I'd actually love to see Braun and D-Bry tagging together. Put them against a heel Shield.

WWE TV 03/19 - 03/25
I mean it's pretty damn simple considering Shane & Bryan both got the shit kicked out of them in two on one attacks by Owens & Zayn and they can easily just decide that those two were the source of their problems with each other anyway so there's no need to continue their beef. Exactly. Thought I completely expect Shane to turn because that's the kind of fuckery WWE loves.

I always believed it was Ward. And then chose to believe Road Dogg took over and Ward didn't do shit since

WWE TV 03/19 - 03/25
I assumed Asuka was coming out to stop the cash in cause she wanted the challenge of wrestling Charlotte but that would be sensible booking so we can't have that on the Road Dogg show I guess I'm kinda impressed how boring this show has been even though it has so many over people in it (Bryan, AJ, Rusev, Usos). That takes a real lack of talent booking wise.

WWE TV 03/19 - 03/25
The ending to Charlotte and Natty made no fucking sense, holy shit.

Dave Meltzer stuff
I guess he's talking about Bryan? Can't say I can blame Dave here as most of his reports are from Bryan himself, either in interviews from other places or as a source. ps: Loss, how the hell are we in 2018 and we can't embed tweets on this board?? He was quote tweeting Prichard so I think it was in response to Dave saying his podcast is a work. Which plenty of others have said too. But Bruce was doing the youve never been in the business routine in response to Dave and then JBL got involved. Ahh, I see.

They pointed at the Wrestlemania sign. Unprompted. En masse. The WWE sub-division of DARPA has declared Experiment P952 to be a success. Wouldn't be the first time Bryan creates an awesome, honest moment with fans that's then co-opted and run to the ground by obnoxious fans or WWE.
-

The fans pointing at the Mania sign when Bryan was wondering when he was gonna come back was kinda dope. Has that happened before?

Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to the ring...
Would Bryan sign a deal knowing that WWE can go back to not clearing him whenever? I'd guess WWE would want a clause were they can't get sued if something happens to him but I'd also imagine D-Bry would want SOME kind of assurance that if he's cleared by doctors then Maroon can't give him a no just because.

Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to the ring...
I disagree, only way they get people like me to watch Smackdown is if they announce his clearance before hand.
