Daniel Bryan has been medically cleared to return to the ring...
I'm shocked so many people online legit think his health was the main reason for WWE not to clear him before. I mean, of course it was a part of it but I don't think it was the main one, I don't think they care much about that regarding any talent to be honest. Considering how many times Bryan went to different doctors - most of them recommended by WWE - and got cleared by them and NOT WWE. And how the company has let other talent with brain issues wrestle and take bumps, it was always pretty clear to me the biggest issues were about the bad PR they could get if he got another concussion or a more serious injury and the concussion lawsuit. Now they were faced with the chance of him leaving and making buzz elsewhere in a time were the indys and overseas are getting more buzz than ever in the US. So once he got cleared AGAIN by different docs, they let him return. I hope he stay true to his word and changes his style, I miss him too damn much to lose him again because he couldn't control himself.

Proposal for 2018: Match Review Trades
A very recent one for Nintendo Logic, Fuminori Abe vs Takuya Nomura. https://rutube.ru/video/630a7005c6882e692f3454ef3b9d5f00/?pl_type=user&pl_id=1067514

Dave Meltzer stuff
I get the Bucks winning and even though I haven't seen much of the Usos in the past year, they always delivered when I was watching. But man, what's really criminal about the tag team voting is that once again Strong BJ got nothing after a really good year. I'm still pissed the match against Akiyama & Omori didn't happen because Yuji got injured

[2018-02-18-BJW] Dick Togo vs Takuya Nomura
Nice little match here with Togo da gawd doing a great control section over Nomura's leg after the young breh got a little too cocky. The comeback is done really well with Takuya fighting his ass off to try to even things out, loved his selling of the leg every time he connected a kick, it wasn't about fighting smart this time, he wanted to show Togo he could deliver damage no matter in how much pain he was in. Ending made sense. Hard not to have fun in these 12 minutes

The 10,000 person crowd
At this point I think they won't have much trouble getting 10,000 people but IF they "only" get 8-9k they'll work the number so it's a sellout anyway. Even if Dave reports that the real number is lower, I don't think his report would gather enough strength to overcome the praise and celebration the "sellout" would get. Hell, it would probably end up with people fighting Dave over the real number and calling him a WWE stooge or something.

Current New Japan
Isn't the "rumor" just Jericho saying on Twitter he's not working for New Japan anymore, or are there other reports/sources? Jericho's gotta be the least trustful source when it comes to these kind of stuff, though they haven't done shit in 2 months with that potential feud

WWE Fastlane 2018
Man you guys really hate the KO/Sami/Shane angle, I guess not watching SD helps
-
WWE Fastlane 2018
That main event was awesome to watch. I wonder if having 6 guys doing a fun as fuck spotfest is easier in a 6 pack challenge setting instead of an Elimination Chamber in 2018 or it was just because of booking/timing/talent involved.

Proposal for 2018: Match Review Trades

[2014-05-01-IWA-MS-Derby Madness] Kongo Kong vs Danny Cannon
I'm a sucker for David vs Goliath type of matches, this was literally billed as one and didn't disappoint. My only gripe about it was Danny kicking out at 1 after Kong's cannonball, everything else clicked with me. Loved Cannon showing fire and speed trying to one up the monster, but still getting caught numerous times because Kong is just too damn big and powerful. Finish was also great as it left no doubt about the winner. 13 minutes of very good wrestling.

It's gonna be at the Sears Center Arena in Chicago, TNA used that building years ago.

Proposal for 2018: Match Review Trades
Thanks, haven't seen this in years and never a bad reason to watch some Austin from that era. Not sure what I'll take from a Benoit match at this point but don't mind sitting through it. It looks like you've seen a bit of one of my favorite wrestlers over the last few years in Shuji Ishikawa, so I've linked below the latest AJPW Tag Title match. The RWTL version of this from December seemed to get a bit more praise but I was much higher on this and it may very well be my favorite tag match of the last few years. Don't be intimidated by the video length as its in the 20-25 minute range. https://rutube.ru/video/3e21b1dacffa703db91ac9d4e622611e/ I thought the RWTL match wasn't that good due to the first half being pretty mediocre, I agree this time they had a better match http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/41228-shuji-ishikawa-suwama-vs-kento-miyahara-yoshitatsu-ajpw-2317-tag-titles-match/ Matt, I can get back in next week if a spot is available

[2018-02-03-AJPW] Shuji Ishikawa & Suwama vs Kento Miyahara & Yoshitatsu
Rematch from the RWTL. I thought this was slightly better, mainly because I actually cared this time around for the first half of the match. This is mostly 20 minutes of bomb throwing. There's not a lot of subtleties in it and the control section from the champs is really short - which is a good thing because I think Yoshi sucks as a FIP - so Kento can get in and pick up the pace. For what they were going for, this was good, wouldn't call it a MOTYC or anything like it but I was entertained throughout.

[2018-01-17-BJW] Takuya Nomura vs Fuminori Abe
Man this was incredible. 12 minutes of INTENSE wrestling. No wasted motion, two people wanting to win and doing their everything to get on top. Stiff as fuck in part, some dope fucking counters and a crowd that's really engaged

Andre The Giant HBO doc
To be honest, I was kinda iffy about the doc after the teaser and trailer. It seemed it was going to be a cool film that didn't have much stuff we didn't already know (similar to the Flair 30 for 30). And with Bill Simmons hyping up Shoemaker as a major player in this, I wasn't that excited. But Simmons had the Masked Man on his podcast on Monday and they completely sold me on it. Shoemaker even admitted his book had mistakes - first time I'm hearing him admit that - and that the director just didn't let anything like that happen in his movie. Seems Andre will truly get the HBO quality treatment.

Wrestlemania Weekend 2018
Man Bloodsport sounds like it's gonna be a incredibly fun. Even if everything goes wrong for some reason, the fuckery of it all would make it glorious anyways.

WWE TV 02/26 - 03/04
Wyatt losing a feud or a match on PPV isn't something it would warrant a special reason. Most people were initially shocked he finally got something going last year, before going back to same ol' Bray booking.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2018
I love Reigns, but I hope to god the crowd at Mania gives a fuck about the Brock match. Three years ago it was full of boos but it had an atmosphere and they eventually won them over with a dope match. After the last two years and this EC, it seems the crowd just doesn't even bother booing when it comes to a big match from him because they know the outcome and they are tired of it

WWE Elimination Chamber 2018
It's still better than BIGLAV? BIGLAV was at least funny.
