[2018-01-27-WWE-NXT Takeover: Philadelphia] Andrade 'Cien' Almas vs Johnny Gargano
Gargano was fucking incredible in this, Almas held his own but Johnny was holy shit level great. Not my type of match, much of the no selling didn't really feel earned to me and the first 10 minutes were kinda pointless - I still don't know why Almas didn't work the back after the big bump on the outside from Gargano, specially because he kept selling it and Almas just wanted to do other stuff - BUUUUT, I was still really fucking entertained by this and no doubt could feel the emotion they were going for. The good outweighed the bad by far in this and the standing ovation was well deserved. Felt this was a better version of Omega vs Okada I and I mean that as a compliment.

Proposal for 2018: Match Review Trades
http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/21979-kota-ibushi-vs-jigsaw-vs-nick-jackson-vs-el-generico-chikara-king-of-trios-032809/ link to my review, I have watched it before a few years ago but didnt really remember anything apart from the double moonsault. it was exactly as you described dumb fun flippy shit. Now for you I see your fun flippy shit and in return will give you even more fun flippy shit with CIMA don fuji and naruki doi vs ryo saito genki horiguchi and dragon kid. This is is the same feud as the famous roh match and happens 8 months prior to that match with this being near the start of the feud while that match is the beginning of the end as it starts CIMA's face turn. This match is often thought to be better than the roh match by dragon gate fans. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7MshERNRCoWVWRxVEpNanROZFk match starts at 1 hour 23 mins I missed the recommendation from concrete1992 earlier in the thread here is a link to my thoughts http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/40978-vordell-walker-vs-too-cold-scorpio-pwe-280112/ Nice! It's been more than a decade since I saw it so it's gonna be interesting to see how this one feels after so much time and me getting burned out of that style. I don't think I'll be able to get to this this week but I'll try my best.

Dave Meltzer stuff
I've always believed that Bryan was going to be put in the title match with Batista vs Orton at Mania no matter what. Like, that was a "change of plans" that was bound to happen given what was going on at that time. Now, the whole show focusing on D-Bry's chase and feud with The Authority once Punk left was obviously booked on the fly as Punk's departure wasn't on anyone's plans. HHH showing so much ass for D-Bry and putting him over so strong came out of nowhere and it's hard to believe that didn't happen because of Punk's refusal to have a match with him

WWE TV 01/22 - 01/28
I haven't been watching RAW at all for months - just reading recaps and occasionally checking out stuff online - and thought they did a horrible job promoting the Rumble too. It wasn't about nostalgia to me, it was about having a fun show with all the people they had. RAW 1000 was very well done, I was expecting this to be similar. I got a run of the mill RAW, the type of show that made me stop watching.

WWE TV 01/22 - 01/28
First RAW I've seen in full in almost a year and the first I'm checking out live in months and just like last time, it didn't do anything to convince me to keep watching weekly. Oh well, hopefully the Rumble is fun.

We are halfway in and the only thing worth a damn so far has been Vince and Roman vs Miz.

Cole saying the IC belt has changed hands 51 times on RAW legit made me sad.

Sophie's wrestling choice
Option 1 is not only current wrestling, it says "And you may watch any wrestling prior to this date - once - as long as you have not previously watched it." that's one of the main reason I chose it. I can keep up with any good shit that comes out in the future AND keep finding classics from the past. I'm fine with not rewatching in that scenario. I'm kinda surprised so many people stay with Option 2 considering that would keep them out of unearthing more holy grails or whatever territory footage that has been unseen.

Decent brawl, didn't think it was that intense to be honest. Here's my review. http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/40961-danny-cage-vs-geddy-cahoon-monster-factory-121817/

[2017-12-18-Monster Factory] Danny Cage vs Geddy Cahoon
Brought to me by Secret Santo. This was an ok brawl, a lot of hit and miss stuff. Match was waaay too fucking long and it dragged a in a lot of parts, both wrestlers having to sell and walk to other ring to get weapons or set up stuff became annoying pretty fast, and for a "final fight" type of brawl this didn't look like anything that special. When the thumbtacks were introduced I thought this was going to get into a different level, at least in intensity, but it was still pretty much the same as the previous 2/3 of the match. I did like the selling and the overall story of what they were going for - kinda wish I could see more from Cage - just wasn't that convinced with the execution. The ending felt like a cop out and given how the previous action was just OK, it hurt more than helped.
