WWE TV January 25 to 31
I fucking love Rusev Oh, and WWE is teasing "a major star" is returning tonight. Cena tweeted a picture from a gym in Tampa, but they are in Rock's turf so I guess it could be him to hype his Mania involvement.

Royal Rumble 2016

WrestleMania 32
Jeff's currently testing out wrestling a few light matches with a big knee brace before undergoing another leg surgery that will keep him out for most of the year. Both Hardys contracts come up next month. Jeff said recently that he's very open to an eventual WWE return and would like to end his career there as the two things he never got to do but still wants to are headline Mania and work a Hell in a Cell match. I absolutely loved Jeff's last WWE run from 06-09 and thought he became a massive star by the time he left. Lots of great matches with various opponents and his WWE title win felt like a real star moment. Ahh, I see. Great post man, thanks.

WrestleMania 32
How injured is Jeff Hardy and can he get a WWE deal? I think I remember reading he wasn't under contract with TNA anymore but maybe I'm just mixing him up with Angle. Last time Jeff came back he was treated by fans like a way bigger deal than when he left. I wonder if he can still be seen as a star and really mean something for Mania.

Wrestle Kingdom 10
I'm actually OK with that. Bullet Club can get replaced by a returning Suzuki Gun. And even though losing AJ Styles sucks, the way he's been booked it's kinda like he did a territory loop and did everything he could (and made the most out of it). Nakamura is the real big loss imo. But then again, that will force New Japan to give his spot to somebody. I really hope Shibata and Ishii can get a main event nod, And also, I think he kinda saw the writing on the wall of him being forever behind Okada and Tanahashi. He's not getting any younger, knows the US audience loves him and is more receptive to him than any other current puro star, and he knows for a fact that even if his WWE stint is a complete flop, he will be treated like a WAY bigger star in Japan once he comes back, and there's a real chance he has some success and ends up being treated like HUGE deal when he goes back. It's a win-win situation for him if he can avoid any big injury.

Taker vs ???? At Mania
It was unlikely he would ever get it even before his injuries (forgone conclusion it's ever happening now), but he's been pushing for that match since Brock came back.

WrestleMania 32
Roman Reigns? The same guy the Rock got booed for endorsing after the Rumble victory? The last thing Reigns needs in his precarious position is to face the guy that not a single soul would get cheered over him. And if anything, barring a heel turn (which won't happen because you can't turn the Rock heel and Reigns is meant to be their new franchise ace) you want Rock's endorsement to mean something in the long run. Having him face Reigns at Wrestlemania with the intent of taking the belt off him is really incredibly counterproductive for so many reasons. Oh, no doubt. I just wanna see it for selfish reasons, I'd be really interested in the clusterfuck that might ensue and how Rock tries to save it.

WrestleMania 32
Rock just confirmed on instagram he'll be at Wrestlemania 32 https://www.instagram.com/p/_2bOsFIh3N/?taken-by=therock It reads like he'll do more than just make an appearance but who knows. Would love to see him work Roman just to see what would Rock be willing to do to put Roman over. But I guess the rumored Rock vs Brock match would be the most likely scenario? With Cena winning the Rumble and facing Reigns? edit: fuck, completely forgot they were supposedly building to Rock vs HHH after Mania 31.

I guess they probably think that Vickie Guerrero pushing Steph to the mud was a great payoff and that they need to "rebuild" Steph for another one in th next 5 years or so

NXT Takeover: London (Spoilers)
I thought it was an outstanding show. Really impressed with Bailey vs Nia Jax. Why would she sign such a ridiculous contract that would uproot her from her home on the other side of the world, only to be stuck in a developmental fed forever? Unless it's a short term deal for more money than usual? Another question: Why is her name pronounced "Aska"? Where's the u? Why waste a perfectly good vowel? I think that's how Japanese pronounce a lot of names that have a "u". Saske, Daiske, Shinske, Kenske, etc.

Mauro Ranallo...
I really like Mauro as a pbp guy. I have no idea how much he's gonna last with Vince's being in his ear all show though.

That would make more sense if Dreamer wasn't going to be on a tables match at the PPV and already got put through one on Smackdown. You can't say you want to take care of your wrestlers when you have broken down Dreamer doing something he shouldn't. Bryan doesn't know any better, neither does Dreamer. And again, Christian is always left out of this conversation but he didn't have a risky style at all and was forced to retired after he got a concussion. I didn't bring up Christian because he is a guy that I agree with you that the WWE is being hypocritical about the issue. However I should note that its just a very possible scenario that they are actually not that concerned about Christian's health, but that it was something they can make logkcal sounding excuse to 1. write out the guy that Vince actually never saw as a star and that he was an ugly looking guy who couldn't reach Vince's preferred note that the champion is a guy men wanted to hang out with or provide inspiration for themselves and that women wants to fuck him. Then 2. It gives them an easy example to provide when they try to convince people that they care about their wrestlers' health. Especially in the wake of CM Punk's shoot. Now the other thing is sure, Tommy Dreamer is going to risk himself going through tables but much like when they booked Shane McMahon as a fearless daredevil that would do incredible and incredibly stupid stunts. I remember the wrestlers being upset that Shane got to shine the few times he wrestled because he could afford to just go home whenever he felt like it to heal up all the possible injuries Shane may have suffered through. The others didn't have that luxury. They had to drive to the next town and continuing on without a break or a "bye week". So I see Dreamer in a similar situation. Dreamer isn't gonna wrestle again for a long while or however he feels like it. Two table spots are easier for the WWE to deal with than the guy who does have to drive to the next town for the next show if he comes back as a full time wrestler and does suicide dives night in and night out because the suicide dive isn't something he saves for special WWE network event. It is actually part of his everyday moveset and doing it as his signature move much like Flair's getting thrown off the top of the turnbuckle and never being smart enough to know that spot never succeeds but he still does it because goddamn it the fans expects that out of every Flair match. Also the suicide dive isn't all that he does frequently but should be scaling back and removing the diving headbutt from his everyday moveset. Harley Race warns people not to do the headbutt because its inherently a tough spot to recover from and then theres that theory surrounding the Chris Benoit situation that part of why he snapped was because his mental capacity was that of a 60 year old alzheimer's patient and tbe headbutt has been the popular assumption of what caused that much damage to his brain. Bryan will do headbutts when he comes back because he is stubborn and thinks thats part of what people like to see from him. So no, a guy with his injury history and proved to be capable of lying to the WWE and hiding his injuries. What can Vince do with that? I get your point. I still think it's bullshit on WWE's part but I see what their rationale is. Still, look at this regarding the bolded... He was cleared to compete full time for two months basically. And Bryan stopped doing the diving headbutt, he was still doing moronic stiff headbutts with Ziggler though. He doesn't know any better, but again, neither does Dreamer. What I'm saying is that they are being so careful with Bryan and Christian but not with Dreamer, that kinda tells me that there might something else preventing them being cleared than their well being.
