SummerSlam Brooklyn... It's Time!!!
Did they just muted the crowd when they were singing "John Cena sucks" along with his song?

Is this match going 40+ minutes or do we get an Authority segment? There's 2 more hours left.

Will you are one cold hearted son of a bitch. Put me on the emotionally invested group that didn't care about the "curtain call" after Sasha/Bayley.

What happened to Christian?
Who the hell thinks they are keeping Bryan out because they don't want him to overshadow the roster? If it's wrestlingforum I'ma legit laugh out loud With Graves I think it's about his acceptance about his situation, at the end of the day he decided to take WWE's offer at the Performance Center/NXT. With Bryan we know the dude is determined to wrestle again somewhere. But with Christian the only thing we know is that he denied and rejected being called "retired" by Jerry Lawler/WWE.

What happened to Christian?
So on March 2014 he suffered a concussion that some claimed was a "career ender". Then late that year he and Edge hosted RAW and both Lawler and Heyman claimed he was retired/had concussion issues. He then denied the rumors of his retirement but we haven't seen him since. I was looking for some news on him and PWInsider reported on December 2014 he had about a year left in his contract. Has there been any news on him since January? Has he claimed he wants or even can wrestle again? His situation is pretty much the same as Daniel Bryan but there hasn't been any coverage on it.

Don't know if he made the report, but Bryan Alvarez always calls it "dong" instead of "gong". No clue why, maybe it's an inside joke.

To those who watch NXT regularly. Why are Enzo and Big Cass not on Saturday's card?

Well, you are getting an 8 man tag on Smackdown at least!

Yeah that Cena promo was kinda of hint that he probably isn't winning on Sunday but I'm not sure Rollins wins either. I guess it depends on the winner of Brock/Taker.

Agreed. It's kinda funny how Rusev has dominated Henry for weeks but backs out from Dolph Ziggler

Terry Funk (JvK edn.)
The CC match against Jumbo was fucking awesome. Watched it after checking both Abby matches from 1980 - which were really fun, specially the one from November that only had the mandatory shitty 80's non-finish as a negative point - and it really shows how Terry could work different type of matches depending on the context and opponent. Loved Jumbo not letting Terry breath and holding him down with headlocks, chinlocks and a good chunk of suplexes. But Funk is Funk and even things outs, from then on it's a great back and forth with awesome nearfalls. I thought the match was over like 3 times before the bell signaled the draw, I was bummed that was it. I think it had like 3-4 minutes edited but it doesn't hurt the match one bit.

G-1 Climax 25 Discussion
Watched the final. Very good match. Shinsuke's spotty selling bothered me though, don't know why they worked the knee when Swagamura wasn't going to change his offense and just pull off the same move without any struggle even though Tana worked it pretty damn well. It was a bummer because they teased working Shinsuke's injured elbow, which could've been much better (more drama and doesn't mess with Nakamura's offense). Watched it unspoiled and didn't really buy into the nearfalls, at no point I thought Tana was losing, it was worked very similar to a Cena "epic" actually. Having said all that, the match was good enough for me to pay attention for 30+ minutes, that's very high praise for modern puro. I don't give a fuck about another "classic showdown" between Okada and Tanahashi. Shit's tired and I'm getting more and more bored about the booking focusing around 3 people for so damn long and with pretty much the same damn story without much nuance or change to it. Okada will "finally" surpass Tanahashi at WK 10 (even though he already did that in 2013, but people tend to forget that) when he should've done that THIS year. The whole "Okada will have to regroup and start all over again" epic angle that some people claimed we were going to witness never really happened. It's frustrating because they've done a pretty good job establishing the uppermidcard as legit threats, but they never pull the trigger on them. I would LOVE for Tana to lose his shot in October, it would be an upset and a breath of fresh air but that's never going to happen.
