You mean his whole run in the main event (since Summerslam last year) or this last couple of weeks. I mean, we can't judge what they've done with him since Mania yet, it's only been 1 show.

Wrestlemania 30 Traditional PPV Buys
Once they factor in international buys (500-550k aprox nornally) then this makes it the most watched PPV ever, right? (at least legally).

That's Dave being Dave. He's been trying to set expectations as low as possible when it comes to D-Bry for the longest. He was downplaying Punk's status in the company when he got his big title reign too. But only when Bryan was getting his main event run last year, Meltzer started talking about Punk's status in the company (since 2011) as a big deal.

This. I don't really have a problem with Bryan having a program with Kane if it leads to The Shield getting a big rub from Evolution. I mean, I'd like to see D-Bry work with other people and have great title defenses right off the bat, but it is what it is. The matches with Kane will be fun at least so it's not that big of a deal.

The Steve Austin Show
That Heyman interview was probably the best one yet, it's at least in the top 3 at least. And we still have part 2 left.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
8/25/2007 Yup, "Manhattan Mayhem II". But honestly Loss, you should check their whole series. The MMII and Final Battle 08' matches the ones that get the most praise (to me, their first match is by far the best they had) but they have 2 other matches that really help build the feud up. Bryan had probably the best promo of his career during that feud too. Most of their encounters were relatively short for indy "main event" matches too so they are not a chore to watch.

Yeah, the Network doc on Bryan was just awesome. The big hug from Rock right before Bryan went to wrestle Triple H felt like "Congrats, it's on you now" type of moment. Kind of a side note. D-Bry should miss this Monday's RAW due to being on a honeymoon, he joked on an interview that he was gonna turn off his cellphone so no one could call him and fuck over his little vacation. I guess we are gonna get a big match or segment to determine the n°1 contender for Extreme Rules. Regarding him keeping his momentum. Well, before getting to WWE he was always at his best in the Ace role, so it's not like he doesn't know how to get over now that his story has changed.

Could Bryan be booked like Bob Backlund?
re: the underdog role. I heard Bryan talk in one of his radio interviews the day before Mania that he was fully aware that he might have to change some of the stuff he's doing now that he "achieved his dream" and as the Ace he didn't think he should be the ultimate underdog. Now, that doesn't mean squat in the sense that if the company wants him in the role of the big underdog, he's gonna have to work with that. But it did made me think that he might change some of his in ring style. He did it like 3 or 4 times when he was in the indys, so it wouldn't shock me if he does it in WWE.

Triple H just announced that the Ultimate Warrior passed away
Fucking shocked. This kind of stuff doesn't even happens in movies man, just so sad. RIP.

The Steve Austin Show
So on today's podcast Austin revealed he's gonna go visit Taker to his ranch to record a podcast the next time Steve goes to the BSR. He said Taker was cool with it and unless he's too banged up after Mania, it's a done deal. Also, on Monday, Austin said on twitter there's gonna be an episode with The Rock (who replied on twitter with a "can't wait!"). Didn't listen to the Lita interview but I almost lost it when Steve told the story of reading the script of the opening segment and finding it flat. So he went to Vince and asked him if he could sing "Jambalaya" by Steve Williams. Then Vince asked him about the lyrics and Steve sang the song to him, so Vinnie Mac calls the production truck asks Kevin Dunn if there was any problem in putting the lyrics on the titantron. Of course it couldn't be done so they went with the original script. Vince gonna keep working the boys until the last day of his life

Aw man. Now I'm gonna have to download Backstage Pass again. It's gonna be a long ass wait until the Network is available in Chile.

Hunter kept talking about "war" too. First saying he didn't want to start one and then telling the Shield they just started a war they can't win...

It has to be a rib on him at this point. They keep booking him in situations were smark crowds are gonna boo the fuck out of him.

Hey, if Brock ever turns face the crowd can sing the Ricky Hatton song to him.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
Did match placement hurt Brock/Taker or that kind of match (with such an awful buildup) was never going to get over on this show?
-
WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
It's amazing how anyone else on that roster would've failed miserably to bring that crowd back. It's also funny how HHH of all people was instrumental on heating things up for that main event, once he and Steph showed up the fans woke the fuck up.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
Loved the triple threat. The crowd almost lost their collective shit when Randy hit that RKO on Batista, the pop of relief when he kick out was awesome.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
I wouldn't call it awful but it never stood a chance with a so-so crowd being spent and a very slow, methodical pace. The streak getting broken deserved a better match.

And so it begins. Put the rocket on that man!!!!
