AEW/ROH TV 4/12 - 4/14
How long is the ROH show? 9 matches seems like waaaaaay too much for a random "TV" episode.

All Elite Wrestling
I remember someone here posted they wanted Punk to get ahead of the rumor mill and put the pressure on The Elite, well here you go

Current New Japan
It's another All Together show (in Sumo Hall). Hopefully they learned from the latests NJPW/NOAH shows and book matches that are actually compelling.

AEW TV 4/5 - 4/7 - Are you ready for yet another HUGE announcement?
If All Out Is shortly after, then All In gotta have more interpromotional stuff and I guess non wrestling stuff? I'd love for the UK brothers in here to enlighten us as to what would the show need to have to sell so many tickets.

Can Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have a 3 round fight or something? Lol

I mean, they don't have to sell 90k tickets and sell out Wembley. But even getting 50k seems like a monumental task. I hope they are able to pull it off.

Is Tony creating AEW: UK?

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I also wonder if Endeavor keeps most of the WWE people that are able to make the roster drink the company's kool-aid like they have for so many years. Even when morale is down, there's always been a "we are family, what we do is special/important so hang in there" narrative that seems to keep things afloat no matter what. If this new parent company makes things even more corporate and soulless -and gets rid of some redundant, but "important" roles in WWE- will the wrestlers still believe they can/should take whatever bullshit comes their way because they "bring smiles to people's faces"?

WWE TV 04/03 - 04/09 Adrenaline in my soul, Roman Reigns pinned Cody Rhodes
He got THREE clean PPV wins over Rollins. The last one with a torn pec and a main event of a PLE. And all of that was with Vince as head of creative. By that time people thought he was the one to beat Roman because he was treated like a big returning star and was organically over as a pure babyface. Not a lot of people were doubting Cody was probably the one to dethrone Roman back in May-June 2022.

Ae they doing the tournament this year? That was one of 2022's biggest disappointments to me. Ended up being a horrible tourney no one gave a single fuck about and had two heels winning and immediately acting like babyfaces when they got their belts. I hope if TK does decided to run it back he does it with blocks or a round robin to lead up toe the Finals (or semis + Finals).

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Judging by Ari/Endeavor's experience with horrible behavior, they'll probably pay any victim (and/or just shut them up) before they speak up.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Some interesting tidbits from WOR: -Vince and Nick Khan signed new contracts not long ago. Vince's has important language in case he's fired (making it almost impossible for him to get canned). -Dave said all the allegations against Vince have been taken care of, with all the accusers getting paid. "There's nobody else that's gonna come out of the woodwork because that's what the (Board) investigation was all about" was a direct quote from Meltzer.

WrestleMania 39
I think Bubba is talking about Okada vs Naito in 2018, when Naito had already went through 24-30 months of a very hot "rebellious" heel run and got the title shot 1 year later than he should've gotten it. Naito won the G-1 and everyone was certain he would win at WK...but he lost, Okada got his historic title reign and ended up losing to Omega. The Naito win took 2 more years and three other people got the IWGP title before him in that time. When he won in 2020 it was a feel good moment but it felt too late, as by point Ibushi was the one that was the hottest in the promotion (and it took 1 more year for him to get the belt). The happy accident of Naito being squandered by Gedo was Kenny Omega becoming a massive draw. Maybe Sami is the Kenny in this Reigns/Cody analogy?

Jay White would make no sense but I can't help but think it's him when the word "mystery partner" shows up.

From Cokeboy to Vincente Maldonado, what a turnaround.

WrestleMania 39
I laughed hard at the response Roman (and Paul) gave Hausman after that question about Endeavor possibly buying WWE

WrestleMania 39
Yeah, that Snoop save was impressive as shit. He did everything right in a split second. BTW, what is the Tribal Chief gonna do to the Usos? mofos couldn't even do their interference right. Puerto Rico gotta be Cody vs Solo, no?

WrestleMania 39
HOLY FUCK ROMAN WON @KawadaSmileI know at this point you already out partying in the beach but the Tribal Chief overcame booking 101 and a match structure designed for him to lose. He is truly undeniable. The second half of the match was peak WWE main event style. Loved how they built to every single nearfall they had.

I skipped through most of the HIAC, the highspots were cool though.

WrestleMania 39
This may be my Charlotte hatred speaking but I thought Bianca vs Asuka was better than yersterday's title match. I'm a sucker for Bianca powering through stuff and how they worked that final sequence was fucking awesome.

WrestleMania 39
Triple threat was fanfuckingtastic. Best triple threat ever?

WrestleMania 39
Watching on a delay like yesterday. That opener was cool as hell, watching Brock having fun playing a babyface in peril and doing comebacks was dope.

WrestleMania 39
And what a ticking clock of a PR nightmare either because of one of them getting into legal issues due to horrible behavior or one of them talking trash about the other company and starting a dumb internal fight.

WrestleMania 39
Not that long ago Kevin Owens was thinking about staying in WWE or going with his friends to AEW. He stayed and got two consecutive Wrestlemania main events. In one he had a match most people thought would never happen against one of his idols in Stone GOAT and this year he gets to be with his brother in wrestling and be part of another really special moment. Safe to say dude made the best decision in his professional life.
