I hope this is a set up for Miro to fuck WardTista up and get his belt back.

I'm cool with that idea as long as Darby gets legit momentum during the tourney and get the type of reaction The Acclaimed got on All Out. Specially because it would set up a "pilars" title match against MJF.

Supposedly his injury came during the match with Mox.

No joke, this has to force Tony to make Starks a main player. BTW, Dave is saying the whole Elite/Punk fuckery will be addressed to night, at the very least because belts are involved. I'd laugh if Excalibur does one of his full speed announcements just to get shit over with.

I remember Dylan being one of the first to mention Cabana was not the person he was perceived to be way back when. Don't recall any particular stories though.

Mox and Jericho were not scheduled to appear but will after Tony Khan asked them to. Will they keep harping on this neverending JAS vs BCC feud or do we finally get a big reset with all these people suspended?

I think Punk is pissed off that Hangman (and maybe others?) don't see Punk as he saw guys like Funk, Race, Guerrero, etc. Instead, they see him as Punk saw Tony Atlas in OVW and it probably drives him nuts Saying a former AEW champion hasn't done shit in this business is the exact type of quote that would've drove Punk insane and cause all kinds of trouble if he was in Page's position. It was so evident that it was the main reason I thought it could've been Punk trying to do a work shoot, but alas...- Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
No doubt. Do we get the details of that fall out on a Conrad Thompson sponsored podcast?- Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
So now there's talk of Punk getting injured during this brawl? if true, what a fucking emotional dumbass.- Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
This is flat earth territory to me, but you do you my man.- Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
The leaps in logic in this have me very confused. The people fighting ain't recording this shit so you either want AJ or Ace's wife to leak footage of an embarrassing fight that makes everyone involved (including their husbands) look like shit? And probably go against both their wishes to not make shit more public than already is. Who the hell is gonna upload a CT scan online over a shitty backstage brawl? Then you want who to leak the security camera footage? And who is going to go out their way to get it from the Now Arena? wrestling journalists? lmao.- Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Cody was incredibly smart leaving when he did, just perfect timing. Him staying would've not helped this situation. He was already kind of isolated and him being in the locker wouldn't have stopped Page from saying a line only Punk and 1% of the audience understood as a reference, he wouldn't have stopped the Young Bucks from leaking shit (they've been doing it for years now) and he certainly wouldn't have stopped Punk from going full Punk during this whole situation. Man, if the first segment of Dynamite isn't the biggest quarter hour in company history then just close shop, lol.- AEW All Out - 9/4 - Live On PPV
Well shit, if Punk doesn't get suspended then Eddie Kingston is gonna cause major trouble too- Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
There's no empire to crumble though... I think the ROH acquisition should be added too. It's not backstage drama or turmoil but it's another issue Tony has to deal with as long as he refuses to get help and starts delegation booking power to others.- AEW All Out - 9/4 - Live On PPV
At this point what intrigues me the most is if Punk is aware that all the shit he's doing (if it's a worked shoot) can very possibly make him the HHH of AEW. The asshole heel that beats the younger stars because he knows what's best for business. Him becoming the type of veteran he hated during his 30s is so evident that I wanna believe it's intentional. But he's the sorta guy that could very well be not that self aware. - Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
