WWE Wrestlemania 38 the Mania of Wrestling
Probably Austin not wanting to put extra pressure on himself.

Checked Bianca vs Becky after all the praise it's gotten here and although it was a very good match I didn't think it was that special. Sasha vs Bianca was better.

Last time they beat Austin in Texas did horrible for business. Wouldn't have shocked me if less people showed up for Night 2

I can't even imagine the amount of money Vince gave him for this, it's probably not the type of offer Austin got before. I also buy into the idea that Austin saw it as a special opportunity to go full circle on his career (first and last match in the same place) and of he it wasn't tonight, he wouldn't have been able to do it like he he just did until it was too late. He could've done in WM 32 but that card had Rock and HHH trying to have a HHH moment with Roman in the main event, so much less room than in a 2-night event with practically no big names. And supposedly he WAS interested in a match with Punk. WWE fucking up Punk's momentum and Rock/Cena having the main event locked up (and Punk dropping the ball badly on that sitdown interview they did together for WWE2K, I'll always believed that played a factor too) probably made him reconsider.

Oh, and talk about making the right call staying in WWE for Owens...

Stone GOAT. So glad this was last so I was able to watch it live. Him not saying a single thing but looking at Owens with a level of disgust and intensity that no one else can channel in wrestling. Milking the crowd and then having a damn good brawl after 19 years?? Again, Stone GOAT.

I miss the thickness but yeah, respectfully. Is Toni's music a bootleg Barracuda theme?

In two singles matches and 1 tag match, Dragon took Yuta from complete afterthought in AEW to a prospect fans are reacting huge for. I also fucking love the hierarchy that's being established in his matches. At this point just showing some defiance towards Dragon gets a reaction.

I guess Danielson is gonna give Yuta one last beating so he can "learn" how to win the Pure Title at Supercard of Honor? Interested in how they tell this story because it needs to be well told if Yuta does get that belt. Also, seems Punk will just rack up random wins before challenging Hangman no real feud coming up for him before the title shot. Lethal vs Mox doesn't interest me and neither does the Adam Cole celebration. Darby vs Andrade has my attention though.

WWE TV 03/21 - 03/27 Omos is the true heir to Andre the Giant
I'll catch Austin's segment later, Saturday has two great Final Four games. Only match I wanna see live is Brock vs Roman and thankfully that's on night 2. I hope they do it like last year and both nights don't go long. PS: I'm confident in saying the "this Wrestlemania has no buzz/the least buzz ever" talking point has been posted on this forum for at least the last 4 years.

I think Yuta is a lock after that segment were he got out of the Best Friends stable, which followed his "presentation" two weeks ago and Mox's promo.

Hearing him talk about what he went through I'm very glad he's been able to make this kind of recovery and that his focus is on family.

I'm glad Regal and Mox have finally given Bryan a t-shirt that's worth a damn....even though he'll never wear it

It seems TK wants Mox/Dragon to get easy wins quickly so they can stack their record and be in contention for the titles as soon as possible. I hope there's a match against Sting/Darby in the very near future though, hopefully for a title shot. Intrigued by who gets to work with Punk in a 4 week program or if they'll just give him random singles wins until Cole/Hangman is over and he can challenge for the main belt. MJF/Wardlow new chapter.
