  1. This whole Saudi thing has been top notch fuckery. All ending up with the meeting before RAW, Seth being a whiny dude and Dave actually retracting and apologizing. Bah gawd.
  2. Well, it was about the speech and Dave made a retraction and an apology. https://www.f4wonline.com/daily-updates/retraction-and-apology-seth-rollins-296666
  3. You read these four names in the same match and you kinda figure out what type of match is gonna be, and well, it's exactly that. 17 minutes of big dudes chopping each other to death, clashing against each other like freight trains and not stopping until their opponent is actually down. Loved the see WALTER as "just another big guy" in this, his size and power are of course a factor, but both Yujis did not hesitate when they got chopped and dished the same kind of punishment , it felt refreshing to see and made me want to watch Walter against both of them. Not a MOTYC but a very fucking fun tag match

Silly as fuck, but RVD coining the term "All Petite" for AEW is hilarious I think that one is gonna stick.
  5. I hope Ohbari does a better job than Meji when it comes to promoting shows. It's good that they are still being realistic in terms of venues, but the lack of hype for shows that had either stacked cards or a lot of big talent announced was staggering for such a popular promotion. I also hope they take care of the talent, they already are banged up to hell once the G-1 comes around. Next year it will be different with the tournament taking place later in the year but flying them out constantly for 4-5 shows in the US during the time they normally take a break? Idk about that.
  6. Outstanding tag match, just non stop hard hitting action. With Strong BJ seemingly taking a hiatus, Abe and Nomura (Astronauts) are my new favorite tag team, those two are fucking gold together. Irie fits perfectly here, of course, and joins the fun of the neverending greatness that is this division.
  7. well damn Dave.

And it's even scarier when you add the fact that they've done such an incredibly shitty job at making that source of revenue compelling to fans so the can continue watching. And when they do try something it's almost always a horrible idea that fails.
  9. I honestly don't think it can get more depressing than the last 2-3 years of NOAH them telling WWE to fuck off is really something though. They might be a zombie promotion that has been sold 2 times in the last 4 years...but they ain't selling to no damn gringo, lol.
  10. On paper, Sekimoto is by far the best choice they could do as a trainer/leader. Strong BJ is neck and neck with New Japan in terms of the quality of young guys they are constantly debuting. I guess WALTER put in the good word for one of his mentors. But unless they'd be able to pouch him away and his boys away from BJW (which would be legit shocking) how would a relationship with Big Japan work though? Are we about the get big budget Deathmatches? lmao. And again, Big Japan has been struggling like a motherfucker for a long, long ass time, so in reality...they'd be a horrible partner for them.
  11. Even if they would "get" the business in Japan, NXT would be doomed for failure anyway. Only promotion doing really good is New Japan. Dragon Gate still doing well even after CIMA, Stronghearts and Shingo left...and that's it. DDT has been struggling for over a year now. All Japan has like 2 truly successful shows every 3 months. NOAH has been TNA (Dixie Carter years) status for a long ass time. The rest are basically indies. The fuck is a NXT Japan gonna do? Oh look, they drew 1,300 at Korakuen Hall! Edit: I hope every single old legend out there cons them to death. Like Onita getting a deal, Inoki being the liaison between NXT Japan and WWE. The only thing that would make this worth it is unadulterated levels of fuckery (and some wrestlers getting good money for a while before closing shop).
  12. That was even faster than anticipated Bu bu bu Uncle Eric got this!
  13. So Bryan stays on Smackdown? Nice, more chances for the Roman stuff to continue to build. If he stays babyface I'm sure he's gonna have a 6 month program with Corbin that will have Kawada losing his shit
  14. Would be amazing if the crowd cheers Roman and boos Seth. Though they'll probably just boo both and chant random bullshit throughout the match until a big spot happens.
  15. Even if it was Heyman's idea he'd be the first one leaking stuff about it all being Vince's fault
  16. This watch along reaction for the last few minutes is fucking priceless the DQ reaction is even better (at 3hr13min aprox.), Waltman got pissed lmao All of those things for SD are a thing of the past though, there's not a lot to look forward besides a Roman/Bryan alliance and possible/future break up. Completely forgot about the draft though. That's perfect for an optimistic (or blind) fan to continue to watch once there's new rosters (even though the brand split means jackshit right now) and possible future matchups. Oh well, I guess WWE will continue to mindfuck people to keep watching one way or another.
  17. Does WWE even have a program to force hardcore fans to fool themselves and keep watching hoping for shit to get better? Lesnar vs Cain ain't it. The women seem to be an endless loop with the same people on top (reminds me of the Cena/Batista/Orton years). Roman and Bryan are either gonna become a tag team and either do a slow burn to a future heel turn/program or just stay a tag for a while before "plans change". I'm way past giving them any benefit of the doubt and mainly focus on whatever Bryan is doing. But I'm trying to figure out what could a more optimistic fan (a notch below KawadaSmile, who could convince himself to watch at least every Smackdown because Cole is calling that show ) try to project/think about to convince himself to keep watching regularly.
  18. I thought Cole saved it quite well by saying it was symbolism for what he was about to do to Bryan. No clue where the hell that pencil came from though
  19. That was a damn good tag match, not sure what you guys are talking about.
  20. And just like that, Becky takes an AWESOME bump through that table.
  21. I've only been watching bits and pieces but every time I check the stream out, Sasha is taking a big bump
  22. In a week full of huge moments for wrestling, the biggest news to me came yesterday/today: 1) wXw booked Daisuke Ikeda vs Yuki Ishikawa for the 16 Carat Gold weekend. 2) WALTER is gonna work Big Japan's Sumo Hall show for Sekimoto's 20th anniversary match: WALTER & Sekimoto vs Okabayashi & Hino
  23. THE REMATCH! NCREDIBLE hoss battle, and a better kaju battle than Zeus vs Okabayashi (which is fucking saying something). It's a more condensed and more violent version of their draw from February, they also reversed roles, as Hino was the babyface having to fight from beneath. They beat the shit out of each other - the lariat exchanges near the end were as sick as their first match -, they do it in a slow(er) pace than most would, but it works for them because you can feel the damage every strike has. They do an awesome job at struggling for moves and trying to get the upper hand. This is a back and forth match, but every transition is earned. Hino was amazing here, his selling was out of this world and the spot were he grabs Sekimoto's leg to prevent him from hitting a match-ending lariat, to then slowly fight his way to hit a german suplex is one of my favorite spots in a match this year, might be my favorite. Daisuke has a couple of big no sells but I could live with them because it didn't actually lead to any excess, it was just to make him look like a monster that Hino had to slay.
  24. 2.3 million people (aprox.) watching wrestling on a Wednesday from 1 brand new promotion and WWE's 3rd "brand" is a pretty damn cool.
