Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
LOL! And I doubt that many were legit tuning in for Chris either at that point! Let’s see, main event that night, a Nitro, is Sting & Luger vs Bret and Hogan…Goldberg has a Big Gold defense against Al Green…Jericho retained his TV title in a 3:16 (heh) in a glorified squash of Disco…okay it’s in the final hour so *shrug* and there was no Raw that week. Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Wonder if this Twitter Twat realizes constantly giving a narcissistic attention whore troll with a “haters gonna hate” mentality the “every bowel movement treatment” is just as big of a reason for him running in 2024, and feeling that he’s still relevant in the national political arena as the crowds that show up to his rallies.

I’m over here hoping Fetterman stays off the grid now, much like a wrestler staving off much needed surgery until after working a big match, and heals as much as he actually can. No reason he should have been out there as much as they propped him up over the last 7 months.

New, ish, Pro Wresting Hall in Albany, New York
Now I want them to wrest away the black butterfly robe from the WWE!

New, ish, Pro Wresting Hall in Albany, New York
Looks like these guys are picking up from where the older Hall left off, in close by Schenectady. Two classes so far, and nearly 40 inductees https://www.prowrestlinghall.org

Looks like the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Wichita Falls Texas is no more
At least at that location, one way or another. https://www.pwinsider.com/article.php?id=153476&fbclid=IwAR25T8NH3TunNWxxmtKw-ALRC_gpORhnzu3vhrUHPdAr9TKS4sZm2HAuys8 Be a sad end to something that had been running for nearly 20 years and with over 200 inductees, and trying to be a legit all-encompassing Hall for Pro Wrestling.

Perhaps. I was referring to social media/network apps, where even if you weren’t planning on hitting up a news site (wrestling or otherwise) chances are friends/accounts you follow would have at least shared or been all “WOW. DID [insert whatever here, again not just pro wrestling news] JUST HAPPEN!?!?” which would pique interest in looking up what is being discussed.

IDK, this isn’t pre-2010 any more, where being a smark, knowing all the insider gossip was almost by choice. Back then it was easy to criticize worked shoot booking because only few watching or in the stands knew, or cared about such things. Now, you can barely avoid it with all sorts of apps on your phone where you can get breaking news.

A List Of Pro Wrestling Podcast Links
Found a couple recently that have been going for a while https://www.podbean.com/podcast-detail/a46ew-2323b2/Mat-Memories-From-Madison-Square-Garden-Podcast John Arezzi follows his streak of making every MSG card from summer of 1971 to summer of 1977 https://www.spreaker.com/show/wrestling-history-101 More of a comedic pod from a couple of casuals, going through WWE PPVs starting in 2010.

NWA Powerrr
How is it in non-scripted sports? In the US/Americas, offspring and other generation removed relatives of past performers are often celebrated. Which is probably why wrestling uses it as a frequent storyline.

NWA Powerrr
I honestly think Corgan is being such a mark for mainstream publicity, that he wants the Ten Pounds of Gold to show up on the set of various highly rated basic cable shows (The Five, Gutfeld!, etc). No matter how illogical it will be for the NWA storylines.

The segment’s booker, Dusty, often discussed it in several places.
