Sorry to sound like a broken record, but can I get official confirmation on what the status of the dates of July 1-3 I requested eight days ago for the NWA World champion to come to Puerto Rico are? I didn't think we'd still be dealing with bureaucratic minutiae at this point in time, so if the dates are not going to be possible, I would need to rework my plans and the weekend's main events. I would also like to know when we could start requesting dates, since if I'm not able to bring in the champ during the first half of July i'm going to have to scrap some stuff and change course.

The Capitol Sports Promotions delegation would like to say that it holds all three candidates in high regard and respects their track records. As of this moment, we are still undecided as to which candidate to support. Two of the esteemed candidates offer the potential for national exposure via TV time on their nationally available programs. This is a benefit with huge potential for the NWA members, but the peculiarities of our Puerto Rico market limit how useful this opportunity is for us at the moment. The third candidate (together with three other esteemed members, including one of the other candidates for President) has organized a super show event for Thanksgiving to be shown via closed circuit. Outside of potentially providing some of out talent to appear on this show (which we gladly will do for this and any other NWA sanctioned event such as the TBS special the candidate from Georgia has mentioned), we are unclear as to what the benefits of this event will be for the NWA as an organization. We would like to request, if possible, some more clarity about what the potential plans each candidate has in order to vote with a clear head and with the best interests of the NWA in mind.

I'm still undecided on who to vote for, but a deadline should definitely be set.

So no NWA champ in Puerto Rico for July 1-3 then? I need to know so I can actually get my first weekend finalized.

I'm also trying to stagger debuts, so I will have talent available for the first few weeks to work outside dates. I'll see if I can post them in the trade thread in case anyone is looking to shore up their cards for the first few weeks with some one-shot appearances (If anyone wants to contact me about someone for the first two weeks i'll let you know if they're available).

I'm in a bit of a holding pattern waiting to hear if i'm getting the NWA champ for the requested dates.

Hopefully this works for both Memphis and Florida. This is an example of why we need to sort out the mechanism for date request and approval ASAP, so that we can avoid situations like this.

A question about 12/24, is the 12/24 request by Memphis with regards to a TV taping? If so, Memphis tapes their show from 11AM to 12:30PM, and if the Florida request is for a night show it could be possible for the champion to travel after the taping to Florida for that evening's show.
