I'm up for taking a turn.

My apologies Parv, although my comment was more a reference to your dislike of the Strongbows than to your drafting. I think you've got a really good base roster going, if a bit unWWF for the time (although that's part of the fun of this type of exercise). As long as you are getting guys you want to work with, that's what counts.

Tag with Ole. He could go a bit in 83, Gene couldn't.Now have Brisco brothers and Andersons, so that's a tag feud in prospect. Mix in the Strongbows and that's a license to print money.

Bobby Jaggers is a very good pick up by Kris at this point in the draft.

We really should finalize how and where we are going to do freelancer bookings and NWA World champ dates.

I just saw Stampede announce Abdullah the Butcher for a show. Are we already doing the freelancer bookings?

I was legit surprised that dawho hadn't taken him and that he was still on the board.

Dates on Andre
Noooooooooooo! Before I knew the rules I wanted to draft the minis and have them as my WCW late 90's era cruiserweight division. I wish I could still do that. I'm hoping the minis aren't too in demand. We should probably clarify what minis and women are available around this time in the freelancers note.

Dates on Andre
Just curious Parv, with all of the trades, are you actually going to use Andre on any of your WWF shows? All kidding aside, don't forget to add your dates to the schedule if you already have him penciled in for some of them.

Rodz-Garea would have been the super team to rival all super teams.

Dates on Andre
Can you please check to see if this would be humanly possible. He'd have to fly from Puerto Rico to Calgary and still make both shows. Doable? From what I'm seeing, flights from Puerto Rico to Calgary appear to be anywhere from 11.5 hours to 17 hours depending on the layovers and connecting flights. The most common one is 11.5 hours with 1 connection, with a wait of 2 hours between connecting flights. My Sunday show will start in the afternoon and I can have Andre at the airport to make his flight that night.

Dates on Andre
That affects two of the set dates. Do you have his Japan dates for 84? Best to get this info out early to avoid problems later.

Dates on Andre
Parv, the September 17 and 18 dates should say WWC.

1983 Rulebook
With the posting of the Andre thread I just had a thought. Is Andre subject to Japan dates this year?

Perfect for Mid South. Agree, you're building a great roster for Mid-South.

Come on guys, let's all get along. i know everyone's on edge because of the Rodz pick. In all seriousness, I didn't draft Rodz, I drafted Super Medico 2 (who happens to be Rodz under the hood).

I'm not sure I'd go that far. But then again something is happening that I don't really understand here because we're living in a world where Pez Whatley and Hector Gurrero get picked before certified Box Office like Ernie Ladd and Ole Anderson. Well, I am running Puerto Rico. What use is Ole Anderson to me?

I just wanted to thank you guys for the comments about the Rodz pick, I'm still laughing imagining the reactions when the pick was made.
