Triple H just announced that the Ultimate Warrior passed away
Seemed like OMG was falsely reported dead at one point, right? I wanna say a WWE DVD commentary re-recording. That doesn't feel inaccurate. Jerry missed Bad News Brown from WMVI, though, and maybe while just doing a quick scan, the three-word, three-syllable names ran together.

Triple H just announced that the Ultimate Warrior passed away
He made a pair of tweets: "Just heard a horrible rumor...please tell me @UltimateWarrior is ok ..,,,", and "RIP @UltimateWarrior".

I could definitely get behind that.

If they'll ever admit that Sheamus needs a mouthpiece...

I just like that the release says that they've been "laying the foundations since January 2014". Such time and effort.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
I've heard multiple people say that Taker called something. I wonder if he got legitimately hurt to the point where he had no recourse but to end it immediately.

WrestleMania 30 (Yes! yes! yes! Yes!)
I just realized who I actually want to win the battle royal... Make it happen, guys.

Not that it's the most important thing in the world, but I wonder if this means that they'll do all four main eventers' entrances before Bryan-HHH. Batista and Orton can try to thug out Bryan (FACE SHIELD GUEST SPOT) or immediately ambush him to start the title match if he goes over. It'd be a pretty awkward segue from the end of the first match to have them do their full entrances before the main.

Matches you must love. But don't.
It's funny, because I actually don't think that there's an AJ match here more acclaimed than Akiyama/Misawa-Kawada/Taue, so it's not slaughtering a sacred cow anywhere but here, but I really don't like it. I know that from when I last watched it that I didn't DISLIKE it. But all that I can remember from it is Taue hitting about forty nodowas.

What'll be the day that it stops being amazing that they found an orphan track written and performed by a Jesus and Mary Chain touring member and let it become one of the best intro themes of all time?

How profitabe was ECW?
It depends on how much you want to compare the CZW and ECW crowds. Jody Fleisch-Jonny Storm at the '02 Best of the Best tournament was considered the greatest CZW match ever by the CZW internet contingent for as long as I was paying attention and had a rapturous reception at the Bingo Hall.

His mania is NOT confined to the ring.

How profitabe was ECW?
I was thinking about the sub-ECW American indie scene, and how it seems obvious now that Heyman should have signed the OMEGA crew wholesale in '97-'98, considering that those guys were just about to bring the ECW-inspired insanity into the mainstream. Except that I can't imagine how poorly that a bunch of blowjob faces in their early 20s like the Hardys, Helms, and Moore probably would have gone over with the Philly mouthbreathers, as a Philly mouthbreather myself.

Don't forget that even worse tombstone on the ramp during the Kane-Shane feud in the summer of '03.

It'd have to be an I Quit match, wouldn't it?

Wrestler=Actor
I suggested in a Vince thread he would have made a good Pat Patterson. It essentially would have been a similar role to the one he played in Moneyball, but a bit more syncophantic. So Art Howe in Moneyball + Brandt in The Big Lebowski.

I liked Big Show as WWE Ambassador to all of the other USA shows. Burn Notice, Psych, Royal Pains.

Wrestler's Political Affiliations
Kandori is also a Lib Dem as a member of the Diet. I suspect that whatever party of which Sasuke would be a member, it is entirely on his own crazy, crazy terms.

Simmons: A) Great copy-editing on "steel case". He couldn't have taken ten seconds to Google that it was Muraco? And he didn't already remember that it was Muraco? Why even bother making the reference?

I'm not sure it does, really. They've been running the feud for months, there is lots of hatred there and a lot at stake in the actual match. This is the most heated feud WWE has had in at least 10 years. I really think they need to go over the top with the match to make it as memorable as possible, to really create a classic MOMENT, not just a good match. Seriously. Everything in their bag of tricks. If Brie can pull off a tope, then I better see Stephanie and Kane eat a tope from Brie.

Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)
The biggest problem is that the Rhodes Bros. would probably get a bigger pop than the Usos.

Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)
If they go to the WWE Legend pool for the battle royal, it is unacceptable for them to not pick Haku.
