FX would probably now mean FXX, which is actually kind of feasible as a branding move, except that I have no idea what its availability situation is at this moment.

Bull had the most complex character and one that actually provides her with a slightly better dynamic as a heel than Aja, to me. She just seems completely insane and wounded. The match against Hokuto and Kandori is my favorite for showing this off-- she plays it with a Funk-like paranoia. She has a degree of vulnerability for such a monster heel, which is eternally appealing. I don't enjoy anyone in wrestling more than I do Oz, though.

Bret was integral to the creation of the Attitude Era with the Austin match and the wildness of the '97 Hart Foundation (which is WAY OFF of Simmons's idiotic timeline comparison with Hennig), which was a fairly major gimmick change. Also, uh, he was utterly iconic in an era that people five-ten years younger than Simmons would consider much better than the period in which Billy came to age. But is he friends with Adam Carolla? Nope! I guess Simmons wins this round.

This might seem like damning with faint praise, though that isn't my intent, but it was the perfect match to see when you were 10 years old to me. It was just such a cool match.

LCO vs. Dynamite/Oz. The best joshi team of the era vs. maybe the best team on average performance ever. All four matchups provide obvious dividends, though the one that sticks out would have been Dyno-Mita as an ersatz Aja-Kyoko, with hate to spare. Bonus points for versatility, too-- they could keep it in the ring or just completely brawl and have a great match either way, plus the ability to form the core of some absurd six/eight-women tags, too.
