[1993-01-02-USWA-TV] Interview: Bill Dundee
Well, there kinda was. Masters of Terror and Mike Samples jumped Bill during his match with Mike Miller (where Dave mentions that Miller looks like he'd been in a fight during the week. Foreshadowing...). Dundee gets a stuffed/spike piledriver on the studio tile. A match gets set up for Monday night. For the syndicated tape, they implied that this caused Bill to miss out on his Farewell tour and Danny Davis is out for revenge.

Dave Meltzer stuff
I'm with you guys on that one. Skippy Alvarez annoys the holy hell out of me anyway but, this time, I was about to pull my hair out.

CHIKARA
So, what is the ultimate conclusion to all this foolishness? Chikara comes back? Okay, fine. Lets get on with it.

[1997-12-01-WWF-Raw] Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs Jim Neidhart
I love how the WWE can bray long and loud about their great Be a Star Anti-Bullying Campaign and yet, hold DX in the highest of regard. Watching DX now, I want JD and Veronica to shoot them in the woods behind the school.

[1997-10-20-WWF-Raw] Interview: Jeff Jarrett
Well, it was about March when he reverted back to Ol' Double J. He started off here as a pampered prima donna in a HORRIBLE singlet, then into that NWA faction and then back on a horse.

[1997-11-24-WWF-Raw] DX, 'Bret Hart' and Jim Neidhart
Oh shit, one thing I forgot to mention about this little circle jerk of a segment was that Ken Shamrock (you know, the #1 contender that made the champ and everyone else in his path tap, that same #1 contender who has a title shot on pay per view in less than two weeks) isn't mentioned at all. Not once. It was far more important to have a little effigy out there.

[1997-11-24-WWF-Raw] Interview: Goldust
I never believed the WWF would die but I do remember seeing the "they've hit the bottom of the barrel" line popping up every week.

[1997-08-21-WCW-Clash of the Champions XXXV] Dinner and a Movie
I remember there being some corporate synergy going on. Randy Savage on Space Ghost. T-shirts with the beloved Warner Bros cartoon characters wearing NWO shirts (which I didn't think made any sense. So, Bugs and Daffy are all heels now?). NWO at the Cable Ace Awards. I do wish that somehow someway the crew from Hulk Hogan's Rock N Wrestling could have shown up on Harvey Birdman, but I don't think AOL-Time Warner owned that. But, still, I can dream.

[1997-12-29-WWF-Raw] Jim Cornette rant
On a show where we had Goldust dressed like Baby New Year and thrown into a goddamn port-o-john, Cornette's words really screamed true to me.

[1997-11-03-WWF-Raw] DX and Sgt. Slaughter
Shawn kisses Hunter, kisses Chyna, looks at Rude who glares at our hero like "if you even try it, I'll bash your skull in with this briefcase".

[1997-11-03-WCW-Nitro] Scott Hall vs Chris Jericho
Yeah, but see, he did the job! The Clique will job for anyone, see? They have no problems with that? Its a work, you know? Fuck them. Fuck them. Fuck them.

[1997-12-08-WWF-Raw] Steve Austin and Vince McMahon
You knew, absolutely, knew that this impeding Vince-Austin feud was going to be good. This planted that seed.

[1997-11-17-WWF-Raw] Why Bret Why?
Looking back, you can say that, technically, Vince is telling the truth. However, you can still spread a lot of bullshit while telling the truth .

[1997-11-24-WWF-Raw] DX, 'Bret Hart' and Jim Neidhart
Transitions can be rough and the WWF's transition here certainly fits that description. In the span of a month, you lost pretty much the entire top heel stable (one to death, three to WCW, and we didn't know where Owen would end up), a lot of injuries, new acts that were getting thrust into the spotlight (ready or not) and really, a heartbroken fan base (no pun intended). I think that the online fan base that was ALL ABOUT the WWF saw that Vince (the babyface independent self-made genius millionaire against that smug heel corporate animal, egomaniac, never-created-a-thing-in-his-life, Jerry Bruckheimer wannabe Bischoff) really was still a sleazy promoter. They felt betrayed and well, stupid. They got over it until the WCW buyout. Then, they felt stupid and gullible again.

[1997-11-17-WWF-Raw] Karate Fighters Commercial
I never lost a match of Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots and I've never lost a match of Karate Fighters either! There isn't much I'm proud of, but hey, that's something. I call Sunny out!

[1997-11-09] Wrestling With Shadows
THANK YOU! Beyond the Mat is a piece of shit. Just an utterly depressing piece of shit.
