This is my first time watching Nicole Savoy and she is really good. I don't know what the Lil Swole Big Swole angle is, but I really wouldn't mind if she replaces Swole on the totem pole, because Big Swole so far has left me underwhelmed.

It was Russo-like in the sense they had a beginning but no end in mind, but the twists were internally consistent and at no point did any actor start SHOOTING on camera using real names, so it's very harsh to say it was booked by Russo from day one.

I would rather WWE did not lean into history more, because their way of leaning into history always is "Hey our product completely sucks now, remember when we were awesome!! Relive those days on the Award-Winning WWE Network!!"

It was worse than thar, because it was much lamer, and fits in quite nicely about the discussion in the thread about embarrassing WWE content. Watching a supposedly dreaded heel stable lazily paint anodyne graffiti on steel steps like a bunch of middle school kids and seeing it sold as a deadly attack was legit the most embarrassed I have felt as a wrestling fan this year.

So he killed his drug dealer but did not tell his brother about it because he thought his brother might....kill the dealer? And he weaves this into a story of how a girl possibly hurt him? What?

This is a bit unfair to X-Pac who in 1998 was arguably more over than Hunter - and a better worker.

They spent quite some time trying to make Becky the heel in the feud with Charlotte before they gave in and went with her as the ace. She literally tried to run away during her match with Charlotte at Evolution, which was the feud ender. They would probably never have given in had she not got her nose broken on Raw and become even more over in the process.

Apparently it was not a bladejob and Sammy was not supposed to throw it straight in his face. He got a talking to backstage but I don't care honestly because I totally agree with you about the blood and the chaotic wildness making that brawl amazing. Obviously I hope they don't overdo it but AEW has shown how much blood can add to wrestling's presentation. Also, Sammy is known for his flashy moves, but he has participated in some excellent brawls now. His Revolution match with Darby also started with an all-out brawl and it was excellent. Sammy is also another of AEW's young stars with all the potential in the world.

I dunno how controversial this take is, but his AEW stint has made me feel JR needs to be produced to be at his best.

Okay that main event is a MOTY contender. Just incredible stuff. Fantastic episode of Dynamite, one of the best of the year.

We all know MJF is great, but Matt Hardy when he is not whining about his ex leaving him is also a great promo.

This match went too long for me, and I dunno if either Best Friends or PnP are big enough stars to warrant it, but overall good match.

Really good match. I am guessing the finish leads to Page-Brodie which is a great idea.

I get what AEW were intending with the paid tier for female fans, but it was a bad idea that is rightfully being criticised. Asking female fans to pay money to be part of a group does not address any systemic issue with sexism in the industry, and it just comes across bad.

JR constantly harping on the 10-second rule in tags is really annoying. He sure didn't care about these rules so much when he used to yell himself hoarse during the attitude era.
