His obscenely long promos irritate the crap out of me. No one needs to speak for that long. Not even people like Dusty and Rock, whose promos were about delivery far more than content.

For t-shirts, I always think simple works best. Austin's tees used to be pretty much nothing but his name and a skull and no one sold more t-shirts than he did. I agree about a lot of wrestling merchandise being so hopelessly in the bubble that you could never think of, say, going to the local grocery store wearing it. The Daniel Bryan literal goat t-shirts still give me nightmares.

In hindsight, I actually should have shut up. The snake angle was awesome and credit to Brandi, she sold it perfectly.

I was not talking about his infamous comments during the 1998 season. I am talking about him being interviewed on camera after winning the first (or second?) time. I am not even saying he was wrong, but that is just about the stupidest time to try and publicly take credit even as the team is crying and celebrating in the background.

This was absolutely awesome and it made a good show great.

These mat exchanges are such a refreshing break from the usual wrestling we see on Wednesday nights. The usual wrestling is great of course, but I like the world champ working this way. Very very old-school booking that way.
