I liked the women's title match a lot. Nyla is becoming really really good.

The match went a bit too long for me, but Page got made today imo. The fans made it clear that they were behind him and he is their guy.

The Bucks got massively booed for dropping Page on the head on that ramp.

This is the best Omega match I have watched in a long long time.

Meltzer pointed this out: it's really striking how The Fiend has basically badly damaged every face he has worked with except Daniel Bryan. The character was definitely over and I think it still has potential, but it should have never been near the world title scene. I actually think Cena is putting over Fiend quite strongly. Cena might be the most selfless top guy in wrestling history, and I don't think he would have any issues being dominated by Fiend.

I genuinely cannot remember the last time I was this hyped for a PPV. I am a complete AEW mark now.

This was supposed to be an all-time great face-off and the commentators talked about goosebumps, but it really was... not? Like, it was fine, but not close to feeling huge.

The most baffling piece of booking for me was Taker pinning Styles in 5 seconds with a chokeslam. How on Earth is that supposed to make me interested in a WM rematch?

Yeah I might have come off as harsher on Wyatt than I intended. I don't think he is bad. I have no idea why they put the world title on him. Of all promoters in wrestling history, you would think that Vince McMahon would know how to book a supernatural unstoppable force of nature. I am guessing they will use Goldberg-Reigns to sell WM PPV rights to some streaming platform, like they discussed at their last conference call. I don't have an issue with them going last and having a 5 min match, cuz Wrestlemania will probably be 12 hours long and by the end everyone will just be wishing it gets over quickly.

Goldberg-Reigns sounds more exciting than Fiend-Reigns, but it was a bit funny how Goldberg paused for a few seconds before hitting the jackhammer, and then could barely get Wyatt up. It was a snap suplex more than a jackhammer, and it's made even funnier by the fact that Fiend had basically kicked out of multiple murders against Rollins. He should never have challenged for the world title. Daniel Bryan got a couple of great matches out of him but that's Daniel Bryan. Have Cena and Wyatt ever had a good match? I remember most of their matches being so-so, and a couple being awful due to overbooking.

Meltzer said recently that one of the reasons Charlotte won the Rumble was because she had been promised some things in the past that she did not get. If I had to guess, I would say Becky getting massively over and winning the main event of Wrestlemania in the spot originally intended to be Charlotte's coronation might have upset her. In any case, Meltzer said the company considers her their 2nd biggest female star after Lunch, so they do absolutely still value her.

Tony Khan grew up watching Mid-South, right? I am glad he has taken more control over the booking.

I loved the weigh-ins and all the brawling. Still think MJF and Cody should have been on the show to cut fresh promos. I liked the sit-down interview with Page/Omega and the Bucks. I was totally rooting for Page though; he was right in what he was saying.
