Genuinely hoping he just squashes Danhausen like a bug and the match goes 5 minutes only because HOOK would keep breaking his own pinfall attempts to further beat the shit out of Danhausen.

Looks like I missed an excellent first hour. Did they tease Hangman-Punk at all? Man, these reDragon boys are so mid. Fish is mid-der, but KOR isn't much different. Impressed with how well Jungle Boy sells and gains sympathy, shit like that matters far more than executing high-impact moves correctly.

Punk v. Dustin should bang. Also looking forward to the beginning of Hangman v. Punk.

The TNT title has dropped off a cliff since Miro lost it. No idea what his comeback timeline is, but hopefully it's sooner than later

Didn't like Hangman's own personal "Why am I so violent" version in the middle of a death match he asked for in kayfabe (and then told Cole to have his affairs in order) but I did get a pop out of them using a crown of thorns on Good Friday. I get what people who praise Cole say, but in my opinion this feud has exposed him as being a solid upper mid-carder at best. The one time Page was allowed to cut a promo the way Cole had been getting to cut almost every week, imo he made Cole look like Cole didn't belong in the ring with him. Even yesterday he came off as such a bigger star. I would also rather the in-match melodrama be kept away from main events. Thankfully, Hangman is moving on to Punk now, and that should be a really intriguing build. Danhausen has also done absolutely nothing for me at all. Unlike someone like Orange Cassidy, whose shtick I did not like immediately but also right away saw some presence and charisma, it has been weeks since Danhausen keeps popping up, and his shtick I just have zero time for. Like, he "curses" people, selling for which has to be some of the corniest shit anyone can do in wrestling, and he adds "hausen" at the end of sentences. It's not cringe or channel-changing for me, but it is also something I do not get. I find it quite boring, and mostly keep hoping HOOK suplexes him into a dumpster.

Isn't that pretty much exactly what Punk has been doing? I thought after his interview last week it was clear he was building wins so he could challenge the world champ, whether Hangman or Cole.

I can honestly say I had never heard of this guy before he got signed by AEW. He certainly doesn't move like someone who could ever be an Nba prospect. And like, it doesn't really matter cuz all three will get squashed by Joe anyway, but what a wet fart of an ending to an otherwise great show. They are killing the lights on lights off shtick with crap like this. First of all, if you never intend to have Sabu as one of the surprises eventually, just don't do the lights off thing. Find some other way to make a debut.

That was a very good trios match. Wonder what the long term plan is for King and PnP to even the numbers advantage.

How many indy jobbers do you think technically just made their TV debut right now

FTR have become massive faces so effortlessly. This is going to be their year. That Blackpool combat club backstage interview was excellent.

If reDragon are transitional champs for FTR to have a heel team to beat, I am cool with it. But I would have the champs retain too, yeah

Rampage did its best 18-49 number in 6 months and completely inverted its usual pattern of ratings crashing in the last 30 mins. Part of that is Mox, who is a big star and really underrated around these parts, but apart from that, this Yuta angle has just been an unqualified success. Went from losing viewers in a mid match with PAC to a star within a few weeks. They should choose the next wrestler to join the Blackpool Combat Club very carefully, cuz they have a gold mine of an angle in terms of hot matches/segments and creating new stars, and should utilise it carefully so it has the most effect. Maybe they take Jungle Boy away from Christian and Luchasaurus, make the pretty boy more violent? Lee Moriarty is another option.

Ring of Honor Wrestling
Got around to watching the tag and it's a stone cold classic. The chops made sense cuz FTR Bald gave into his ego and got sucked into that exchange with Hair Brisco and paid the price for it until he reverted to punching. A violent, visceral, intense bloodbath, the best kind of wrestling. Strong MOTY contender.

Apparently, the live crowd booed the fuck out of him during that segment. It didn't come across on TV, but there are multiple reports from people attending live that said he was roundly booed.
