It just shows that while Twitter is great for shitposting, memeing and hanging out with friends, it is absolutely the worst possible forum for any kind of serious discussion. I hope TK learns his lesson from this, and in future sticks to tweeting exclusively to plug his upcoming TV shows.

Swole's point about Dark not being booked with weekly logic leading to less-than-great matches was also interesting. I wonder how the YouTube shows are put together.

Ricky Starks should be pushed a lot more than he is. Britt when she was injured was constantly on TV and that helped her get over. Starks shouldn't just be doing commentary.

That was a fantastic street fight. Unlike a lot of modern wrestling street fights/no dq matches, which feel like sanitized stunt scenes or Marvel action scenes, even with blood, this felt like a genuine, violent, chaotic fight. Bunny and Tay absolutely murdered themselves for our pleasure. I actually liked it better than the Britt-Rosa match.

Yeah but Cody and Brandi got separated as an act in pretty much the first two episodes of Dynamite. That heel pair evolved into the face Nightmare Family stable. I guess the "face turn" such as it was, was his promo after his match with Dustin at the first Double or Nothing, when he said he needed a brother to fight brothers.

I mean it is several levels above WWE weekly TV programming, but we should continue holding AEW to higher standards.

Some really good stuff on the show but also some bad stuff. Which I guess is the story of AEW in 2021, so it was fitting.

Dusty started wearing those clothes because he started out as a heel, and his American Dream gimmick was originally heel shtick. But he was so charismatic, such an amazing promo, that by the time he had come to JCP, that was a long-forgotten memory. It's sort of been the other way around for Cody, who started off as a massive, beloved babyface, but has slowly seen a lot of the audience turn on him.

The fact that more people watched Rampage on Christmas than they have been doing generally shows just how awful the Friday night 10 PM slot is. It truly is the death knell of time slots. If you're up and about on Friday at 10 PM, then chances are you are probably not watching television

HOOK has a literal babyface, but as he gets older and reaches his prime years, that will help him be a great face. He doesn't need to have his dad's personality to be cool and badass.
