WWE TV 09/16 - 09/22 Stop pushing Seth down our throats!
I just find Mauro hilarious with the references. "These women are lighting up the ring like LIZZO LIGHTING UP THE MUSIC SCENE!" "Just like HIP HOP ICON MISSY ELLIOT, Bianca Belair CAN'T STAND THE REIGN of Shayna Baszler!" "In a match that lasted about as long as a TIK TOK VIDEO!" its the best.

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
I think the Swinger stuff so far has been great. I imagine his use ultimately won't be too far off from how they used Glenn Gilbertti, mostly for comedy. But it should be fun. Looks like we end up with one last LAX match next week so that's cool.

WWE TV MSG EDITION
I miss the Modern Day Maharaja. I was surprised how short-lived Rusev as a face was. Felt like they had something when he and Nakamura had a 20 minute main event of SDL at the end of last year but then they just switched the title right back. And of course he and Aiden's tag team getting killed off at the peak of their popularity.

AEW All Out
Agreed 100%. Zero interest in Spears but Cody comes off like the biggest star in everything.

Samoa Joe, Jay White, and Ciampa.

Saddens me cause I thought he was totally awesome on the mic during his first run in 2010, great IC champ. I thought he was a solid fired up babyface on the mic in Impact but his ring work was more memorable there, particularly the Lashley feud. I find Cedric to be probably the most boring dude in the company

Compared to fucking cedric and ricochet though... Got damn. Amen.

Greatest Career Rehabs
All I've really seen of him was the awful awful comedy shit he was doing upon arriving in WWE that turned me off huge until the cruiserweights got off Raw and I stopped watching 205 so I don't really see him. On the other hand. Aries is one of my all time favorites. Huge fan of his original ROH run, his climb to the top of Impact, and his wasted WWE run but everything about the Aries/Neville feud ruled.

Greatest Career Rehabs
Only the Aries WM match and series with Tozawa were preshows. He won the title from Swann at the Rumble, defended against Jack Gallagher at FastLane. The rest of the really awesome Aries feud was on PPV main card of Payback & Extreme Rules and then losing it to Enzo on the No Mercy PPV. The most impressive thing about his reign to me was he was having great matches with a load of guys I had zero interest in aside from Aries (Swann at the time, Gallagher, TJP, etc.)

WWE Summerslam 2019
Agreed, I thought this was way better/more memorable than the WM match. I'd have it 2nd only to Charlotte/Asuka from the SDL before WM in best WWE womens matches this year.

NXT Takeover: Toronto 2019
I hate all of that. the best babyface since Steamboat nonsense was also said all the time about Sami Zayn, who I also couldn't stand and think is 1000x better as a heel.

NXT Takeover: Toronto 2019
I'm with you. the Gargano/Ciampa shit destroyed any interest I had in watching NXT anymore. I didn't mind Cole but he's been dragged down to hell with this feud going as long as that one. Only seeing gifs of their last match and the no selling was enough of that crap forever.

WWE TV 08/05 - 08/11 Comedy can truly help in dark times
Exactly hahaha, what a bizarre take. "He has a small role, he has no lines, but nobody's audibly reacting to him!!"

WWE Summerslam 2019
Agreed, so far haven't seen a thing different. Just Bray doing the same 'start a feud by randomly attacking someone after the lights go out' stuff he's been doing for years and years like the feuds with Ambrose, Roman, etc. Only now he's wearing a mask so it's been generally praised more.

He explained later after that he wasn't retiring right then but that his retirement will be like a year long thing.

WWE TV 07/29 - 08/04 Hey whatever this country is broken
Amen, lot of potential to use it to do something, anything, different there but instead went the ridiculously predictable route and barely made Ricochet even have to work for it. Obviously none of the heels were gonna win to face heel AJ, but Rey winning would've made it come off way more unique at least. I thought Drew was absolutely fantastic on the mic in his first run back in 2010, really excellent heel work while he was IC Champ feuding with Kofi, Teddy Long, and Matt Hardy all at once. Agreed 100%. Haven't been able to stand her this year at all, on or off screen.

Love the Tenille signing. So much potential here, always one of my favorites throughout her WWE run where she was underrated the entire time. Came off like an absolute star in her heel run, especially her second NXT run.

WWE TV 07/22 - 07/28 RAW Reunion! Candice Michelle is back!!!
They put some of the most predictably boring stuff imaginable on it. I turned it off halfway thru because I get way more than enough rambling Kevin Owens crap on the weekly shows.

WWE TV 07/22 - 07/28 RAW Reunion! Candice Michelle is back!!!
They had really good matches a couple years ago but man they are just killing Joe dead at this point. What could've been a dominant US title run, he loses in fluke fashion to Rey and only gets it back via Rey handing it to him. Proceeds to job clean right away to Ricochet, only to challenge for the WWE title immediately after, and get beat yet again in under 10 minutes. Couple weeks ago he beats Finn... but it's presented as a fluke and he gets his ass kicked right after so that's forgotten. Then of course last week, he starts with Roman and gets beat just like that in 5 minutes.
