Hulk Hogan Biopic in the works; Chris Hemsworth is playing him
I wish it was covering 80s and 90s, maybe up to the 2005 HOF induction but it'd probably be too much to cover all in one.

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
I loved that Tessa/Taya match. Tessa looked so great wearing the traditional street fight gear. Really like how the stories progress weekly and how they keep everyone involved throughout the show, with small but effective backstage scenes like this past week with Sami visiting Rich in the hospital, Mitchell and Rosemary setting up the dark war, etc.

WWE TV 02/25 - 03/03 THE BIG DAWG IS BACK
But what about Arn? Would love to see Barry, Tully, Lex... basically anyone who was at Flair's 08 retirement and/or had a big connection with him. I'm guessing no Hulk, its usually known anytime he's in the area of a show.

WWE TV 02/18 - 02/24 Governmental Twitter Dirty Laundry-Washing
The transition to 2017 Impact Wrestling is now complete. Bruce, Abyss, Sonjay, Helms, Jarrett, & Borash. Now build Raw around EC3, Lashley, Drew, and Kurt.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2019
Jeff's 06-09 was full of great performances against a wide variety. the 06 series with Morrison over the IC title, the 07 feud with Umaga, and IMO his overall best year 2008 had some really good RAW matches against Michaels, Orton, Cena, Jericho and the later series with Triple H was his best in-ring stuff.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
I always loved that knockouts new years eve show. Hamada was absolutely on fire, killing it with ODB & Nikki Roxx. I thought 2010 was a lot of fun in a 2002 'who the hell is gonna show up next' sorta way, but agreed on all things 2011/12 being excellent.

The Pro-wrestling Curve of Attractiveness
I have never seen any appeal in Bayley, mannish as people say about Charlotte, facially. Alexa & Sonya are my top 2. I think the overdone makeup/lipstick is what hurts Billie Kay, she was always really pretty in the indys and people always figured she would be WWE bound because of her seemingly natural good looks. No hangups with Tessa, I think she looks great all the time - especially this past week on tv.

WWE TV 02/04 - 02/10 Bolsonaro is all abouth death squads baby
She's "suspended", so presumably shouldn't be on either event.

No Aries, but RVD & Sabu vs Pentagon & Fenix!

Ring of Honor Wrestling
I guess nothing ever came of the Taeler Hendrix accusations. I've found Lethal mostly awful ever since he dropped the Black Machismo stuff in TNA. As soon as he became good ol regular guy Jay Lethal again it was horribly boring.

I agree. I think the clean tapout was the absolute last outcome they should've went with where just about anything would've been better and still give Asuka the big win whether it's a flash pin, passing out in submission but not tapping, or a countout or ref stoppage as you mentioned. But tapping out right before challenging Ronda Rousey sucks. Felt like a real momentum killer and then winning the Rumble by coming out last after Charlotte worked 45+, just blah.

I'm definitely less interested in Becky being this huge threat to Ronda Rousey considering she just tapped out to Asuka like that. I would love to see Ronda/Asuka at some point.

My first thought was Alberto

Agreed, he's a major highlight of Total Divas when he's on.

The importance (or not) of tag teams in WWE
I believe local ads for the show have been advertising Naomi and Carmella being the final team, aka the only women left.
-
The importance (or not) of tag teams in WWE
Good call on 2009, one of the only times tag bouts were headlining PPVs with DX/Legacy at HIAC and DX/JeriShow at TLC. While they didn't headline Summerslam, the initial DX/Legacy match there was excellent.

WWE Hall of Fame 2019
Matt's been insisting lately that he's not retired and is coming back so I don't think there will be any rush there

WWE TV 01/28 - 02/03 Brazil is covered in mud and blood
Roode's matches with Nakamura were excellent and my favorite of Nakamura's WWE matches. Itami's match with Roderick Strong last year was incredible, his best here.

Royal Rumble 2019
Agreed 100%. No reason to believe Becky's suddenly this big threat to Ronda who has been unbeatable to this point. Real momentum killer IMO. Going back to Asuka, she got a pretty massive pop when Becky was choosing who to replace her at Survivor Series and she passed by her. There were reports that even Vince was impressed by that and it may have played into Asuka getting added to the TLC match. In spite of whatever booking, she's remained super over and I'm glad she's been built back up to the top spot. Definitely looking forward to Asuka/Charlotte II one year later if they go that route. Also since it was mentioned earlier - HHH was the first to target Brock's diverticulitis and work the stomach at Summerslam 2012.

WWE NXT Takeover Phoenix
Glad to know it's not just me driven away by the gargano/ciampa crap. As such, I don't watch NXT anymore but Bianca has always been awesome, hope she shines.

Bill Demott is not a good human Thread
I also remember it seeming like in his later days WCW US title push, that it was treated like a feel good this hard worker guy deserves this push kind of thing but I haven't rewatched any of that since so it sounds like it certainly doesn't hold up well.

WWE T.V 1/21 - 1/27. The last gasp to the Royal Rumble
I would think Batista's film schedule would keep him out of WM, possibly same for Cena. But I'm interested to see who HHH ends up working either way.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
I use Cagematch if you mean for results, if you were looking for the actual match - it's the Nov 2000 Nitro Sting/Steiner vs Kronik match

All Elite Wrestling
I admit I didn't see much of his ROH run, but he always came off top notch in Impact for the year he spent there.

WWE TV 01/14 - 01/20 Bolsonarism is taking us to the Middle Ages
2016 babyface Ziggler was my favorite incarnation with the Ambrose summerSlam feud and the Miz feud.
