WWE should at least reference it at this point. If they don't want to go that route they could just throw it off with a one liner like, "The MITB hold must cash it in on a champ and it can't be done if there is no champ." Continuity has never been WWE's strong suit, so it's not like they'd have to hold onto it if something changed later.

Because the triple decker cage of doom worked out so well for WCW... Actually, the early War Games matches used triple decker cages too and those were a lot of fun. Plus, the kind of match I'm talking about wouldn't be a triple decker cage match. Just a ladder match with a cage around it.

I voted for Ted based more on his mic work. Such a great villain. Also, that laugh is pretty iconic.

I always love when someone pulls off a powerbomb variation in MMA. Also, Daniel Cormier is pretty big on body slams.

I think with any question pertaining to the future though we have to keep in mind we won't always be in the PG era. I remember during the Attitude Era fans never thought that would end either, but here we are.

Yeah, that's going to be a head scratcher for years to come. I'd like to think WWE would try to make up for it by putting on a great Rumble in 2016, but I think it's more likely they pull off a hat trick. As for the thread though, it's definitely the screwjob.

WWE has a knack for taking fan favorites lately and completely bungling it when getting behind them. I think this is more likely to trickle down to NXT than vice versa.
