The Rock-Kevin Nash heat in 2002
Sounds about right in this world.

The Rock-Kevin Nash heat in 2002
I swear Rock called him Big Daddy Bitch in the ring once right? Or am I imagining that one?

HHH on Stone Cold's Podcast
Just listened to it. I hope somebody works out the ratio of dialogue on this one, has to be 90% in HHH's favour. I'm all for the subject speaking a lot more than the interviewer but I came away wanting my Austin fix. The way Austin was going through his notes, you can believe A LOT of stuff was left out because HHH was droning on. Pretty boring interview IMO.

Talent fired by WCW in 1995
People put forth the "Sabu should be a millionaire" thing all the time and I'm not doubting his influence to 90's wrestling and everything that spawned off that, but the fact is that the man had terrible business sense.

Hulk Hogan's best matches
5 pages in and no love for the Hogan vs Great Muta match in 1993? Certainly one of my favourites from bell to bell in terms of action. Sadly, it's been pigeon holed a lot as "just" the match where Hulkster hits an enzuigiri.

Best Royal Rumble of all time?
Do you think that's the only time they were in the same building or something? Some of your posts leave me scratching my head mate.

Best Royal Rumble of all time?
Andre was cutting promos on TV for an appearance in the 1991 Rumble but he didn't appear due to his health. Such a shame he didn't make it to that match, if for nothing else, I think there would have been a strong chance of Andre / Undertaker locking up. It's an image I've spoken about in the past, but for histories sake I would have LOVED to have seen committed to film even just once. Hell, the day a photo of them in the same room rocks up (I have to believe somebody has one somewhere) that is getting blown up and mounted on my living room wall.

Greatest Match in WWE History?
Sometimes it's hard to explain why you like something. It would be like me trying to explain why Phil Collins' "One More Night" is one of my favorite songs in contrast to millions of others. Perhaps it conjures memories, a couple of words hit true, a few cords pull heart muscles. It's all so samey to everything else and as I wrote earlier, at the end of the day it's subjective. 26 for me felt like an epilogue of the 25 one. The 25 one I rate highly as I remember watching it at the time on the edge of my seat. When Taker twatted his head I honestly thought they'd be going home straight afterwards. If memory serves, a big move was hit very shortly after which I naturally thought would be it. I'm not a fan of the repeated kick out culture of big moves, but in this context of thinking the match would end quickly I found it gripping. Then the match kept going and going... fluid, intense... to me it was brilliant. Haven't watched 26 since it happened whereas I've had repeated viewings of 25. I'll have to get round to watching it again soon.

How do you watch the network
Xbox One, lovely interface, easy to use, responds to voice commands via Kinnect (Pause and play are the only ones I use). It does crash however every so often, say once every few hours. But thankfully now they have the auto resume feature added (finally!), it's not the end of the world.

WWE Network... It's Here
Yeah Dunn was on Tough Enough Season 1. I remember him talking badly about John Morrison / Nitro.

Greatest Match in WWE History?
Bret Hart vs Owen hart at Wrestlemania 10 Bret Hart vs Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13. Undertaker vs Mankind at KOTR 98. Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 21 Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25 It's all subjective of course. If I wanted to make arguments why the above matches weren't good, I could. But these 5 matches to me are brilliant each for different reasons. Hart / Austin at WM13 may be my favourite ever WWE match.

Best Royal Rumble of all time?
Studd won because he was making a return and they wanted to run with him as the resident giant and give him a push.

WWE Network... It's Here
I'd love to know what it's from. It almost has a deposition feel to it, but going by the location he seems to be in I doubt it.

"Macho Madness: The Randy Savage Ultimate Collection"
God knows, but I doubt this. A feud with Randy would have been huge for Shawn in 1993. Imagine Michaels vs Savage at Mania that year instead of Tatanka.

Current WWE
The big difference between WWE and McDonalds is that McDonald's doesn't come out and intentionally shit all over their entire menu nor will they let a product flounder (no pun intended) around on the menu if it isn't selling well (McDLT, McLean, McPizza just to name a few). They certainly don't have the best food in the world (all the sugar in their buns for example nevermind their cheese...) but they're going to pimp it and pimp it hard to get feet in the door/drive-thru. You also better bet that their CEO and horde of executives will eat their own dog food too (not all the time, mind you, but when pushed they will).

Current WWE
I try not to get negative about Raw. It's like moaning that my McDonald's isn't nutritional: I know what I'm getting and I certainly have the option not to tune in. But that ending was awful. The evil authority figure ad nausea continues to be my biggest hate about the WWE. And we have a storyline development (the multiple firings) which won't last more than two episodes. Poor form all round for an episode I was looking forward to.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
I think so. They should have spaced it out a bit better so it wasent so close to the Rumble. Either that or have those two battle the Harts for the titles. A couple of babyfaces (one basically an actual baby at the time) aggressively working over the injured leg of Bret Hart? Nah thanks.

Dave Meltzer stuff
What about Harry Knowles then? He was somebody who would find and leak info as a pseudo journo, who studios would specifically leak info out to (as have most promotions to Meltzer). He of course would go on to be involved with many films and even produce.

Current WWE
I certainly wouldn't call Neville a spot guy. Just because there are a tonne of GIF's going around of slick spots; I think people have a tendency to pigeon hole wrestlers to one of their strengths at times, and see those strengths as a negative.
