  1. Those instances were several years apart. And Warrior was certainly not chasing fading glory. In almost two decades he had one match (not even on US soil) for a upstart (and subsequently over saturated and killed market) in Spain. He was very vocal about why he did hat match and none of the reasons amounted him to being a glory hound.
  2. Not a fan of how Dibiase has been portrayed on televion since 2006 when he makes one off appearances. Why he is participating in the typical 'backstage freaks' segments I'll never know. Worth noting that he was glorious as the guest host of Raw back in 2009.

Sad if true, she seems a sweet girl.
  4. This venture has so much potential it's frightening. I would have liked some new in house productions announced instead of the older ones (Legends House) they've been sitting on for a while, mind.
  5. Ever thought about doing it yourself Childs?
  6. Here in the UK a couple of the mainstream papers cover wrestling once a week, generally in a weekly run down manner. They may even speak to a British wrestler or two if a big event is coming up. I was wondering whether in the US / Canada whether nay of the papers do something similar?
  7. Highly likely. Next few months could prove very interesting.

Shit, you're right. I always had it in my head he won. Let's burn the evidence and go with RVD as the second longest streak anyway.
  9. Daniel Bryan quite some time ago to a lot of success, my toes actually curl reading Internet fans still refer to him as Danielson.

RVD, 18 vs Regal 19 (dark match, what a fuck up considering how hot he was a year earlier) tag vs Storm and Venis. 20 Tag Team Turmoil match 22 won money in the bank 23 won his ECW 6 man tag. So RVD is 5-0 in my book.
  11. Always preferred Marty over Shawn. Perhaps because it was the 80's and I was a huge Back to the Future fan.
  12. Kane and Bryan just seems such an after thought at this point in time. That pairing peaked before last years Wrestlemania...
  13. Good interview with one of the best ever.
  14. If it were a proper heel turn, he'd be beating up some good guy for the turn.
  15. His AJPW tour in 1993, thoughts and possible regrets?
  16. Sidebottom replied to Smack2k's topic in WWE
This heel turn is a swerve, in my eyes. Unless somebody turns heel by beating down a face, it wont last...
  17. Wasn't a fan of the Blaze book myself if I'm honest.
  18. I liked Chris Jericho's Su-Flex. Best wrestling commentator call ever...

That comes down to how he is booked though. Punk this year has basically been Bret Hart in 1995. He'll have his time again.

Punk seems to annoy the type of wrestling fan I hate the most, so he gets a big thumbs up from me.
  21. Wrestlers on Mario Bro's TV show was always fantastic for me as a youngster:
  22. Kurt Angle to me is great because he can have amazing matches with big men (Undertaker, No Way Out 06) or little men (Rey Mysterio Jr, SS02) and everything in between. He can have had hitting matches (Austin, SS01) or dramatic ones (Michaels, WM21) or a straight up pretty technical affair (Benoit RR03). On the mic he can be deadly serious, comedic and again seemingly everything in between. He looks the part, he's reinvented himself a good few times and is credible due to his Olympic credentials. You can easily buy into Kurt Angle as being legit. Also, like all great workers you can daydream about impossible matches with stars before and after his time on a certain roster. Kurt Angle of 2002 vs Bret Hart of 1994 anybody? Or how about CM Punk vs the Olympic Hero?

I agree with what you're saying, but you can't include Punk in that, the guy is made now. He is like Bret Hart in 1995, he can afford to be feuding with dentists and Japanese men with marker pen down their body. the works remaining consistent, the fan base is hot and you know sooner or later he will be holding the title again and producing quality, top line work.
  24. A lot of people carried knifes to wrestling shows back in the day for some reason.
  25. I'll go with the Hart's if we can count extended family: Bret, Owen, Davey, Dynamite, Neidhart and Su as a fine promoter.
