Bunch of new ECW TV's up including Hostile City Showdown 96. Pretty sure this was the first ECW match between Sabu / RVD... which means ECW's best ever show The Doctor Is In can't be far away!!

Piper could have headlined Wrestlemania 8 (in terms of fan perception). The fans LOVED him in the winter / spring of 1992, a hyped match with Flair would have been gold on that stage.

For irony, John Cena should be awarded his 16th title from Kevin Nash.

I was always under the impression it was something Earl was just doing. TNA didn't market the shirts. There are may things we can blame TNA for but his isn't one of them

Is there anyone who bucks this trend? I want to say Savage. That it? Bret and Owen were better in the WWF, for sure. Bret rates his Stampede work highly, but to me it always felt like the unfinished articles of the Hitman.

The DVD's would have been a good shout back in the day when they would wheel out (for perfect example the ladder match at Mania X) on multiple releases. Give one of them a USP with an alt live track.

Would really like to hear these alternative live commentaries from 1994, specifically of Wrestlemania 10. Does anybody know if they are anywhere or are they effectively lost forever? I imagine they would have surfaced by now sadly :-(

Just watched the 2015 Rey Mysterio RF shoot... Man, Rey comes across quite bitter in parts. Although for balance, he does say he doesn't regret a day being with WWE.

Just had a thought: Shawn and HHH have been linked at Wrestlemania since WM26... HHH was part of the build to Michaels match at 26 Michaels part of the build to HHH's match at 27 Michaels ref HHH's match at 28 and cornered him at 29. Slightly loose: but Shawn was worked into the whole AUthority vs DB storyline that culminated at 30. Shawn interfered in HHH's 31 match.

There's quite a few major British guys absent from the list (Ospreay, Scurll, etc) which is odd given they're often put against name talent on the local scene. Their cheques didn't clear.

Disagree with the Bret / Austin SS96 opinions. I remember watching it about a year ago and thinking it held up strongly. More importantly, upon my original viewing as a kid, I remember being on the edge of my seat. It was one of those deals where I REALLY didn't want the classless Austin to win as much as I wanted by beloved Bret to win. I remember being gripped by the action and elated at the outcome. That bit at the end of the match where Vince shake Bret's hand and congratulates him on a great match - that was probably the real feeling at the time.

Sometime in between WCW closing shop and Eric coming into the WWE, wasn't he involved in some sort of sleaze / swinging incident with his wife and another couple, with a criminal element.

Has to be the only time "ring rat" has been uttered on WWE programming right? Unless it was uttered in the days of Bob the Crackhead appearing on Raw?

I don't think Austin / Undertaker ever meshed well to be honest. Not in angles, in the ring... just didn't work for me.

No Bret vs Undertaker from 1997? Perhaps my favourite ever Summerslam match. Sad bear.

They did, kind of. Vince gave himself a humanitarian of the year award on Raw.
