Greatest Career Rehabs
I was looking through the prism of how Enzo was presented as champion compared when PAC was on top. He never got main event segments on Raw and I'm sure all of his title defenses were on the ppv pre shows.

MLW Fusion, anyone watching it?
For me that was the most I've enjoyed MLW in a good while, this promotion just moves at a snail's pace. Hopefully the NOAH guys will give it the jolt that it needs.

Greatest Career Rehabs
How can I be foolish and not mention PAC. After a so so run in WWE he went back to Dragon Gate renewed and had an excellent Open the Dream Gate run becoming a top draw and getting Dragon Gate much needed buzz after the split from CIMA and crew.

MLW Fusion, anyone watching it?
This week episode was a good edition with one of LA Park's better brawls with Havoc. He wasn't just going through the motions and just relying on his charisma. Kind of bummed by no Contra appearance because I'm all in on Jacob Fatu. I wish it was him instead of Hammerstone in N1 Victory because he stinks.

Heyman done snuck in the G1 tag format tonight.

Greatest Career Rehabs
I don't think so. He was in a good place feuding with Regal until his "bad habits" caught up with him. I believe after the Regal stuff he would've been slotted in the NXT title scene.

Greatest Career Rehabs
I actually forgot he was in NXT until you mentioned it. He was dead as a fish out of water with that hacker gimmick. Other companies has used him perfectly showing off all if his strengths, he's the most important performer in Impact right now.

Greatest Career Rehabs
Since leaving WWE Jon Moxley has been doing the best work of his career in AEW and New Japan. He feels rejuvenated and feels like a weight is off his shoulders. Wondering is there any other situations like this? The one that comes to mind for me is Vader after his disastrous run in WWF then killing it in All Japan.

Who is a better in ring performer?
Hart = Flair Kawada > Okada Misawa = Kobashi Danielson > Tsuruta Tanahashi > Taue

How much wrestling was on TV when *you* were a kid?
The most I remember as a child is dearing 90-94 watching WCW and WWF heavily then stumbling upon ECW and Lucha (mostly AAA) around 95-97.

What an odd cut to Hart/Hogan.

[2019-07-14-WWE-Extreme Rules] Daniel Bryan & Rowan vs Heavy Machinery vs The New Day (Big E & Xavier Woods)
A fun tag match where everyone got a chance to shine with cool spots. All the interactions meshed well and having wanting to see what Bryan and Otis can do in a singles contest.

[2003-01-26-NOAH-The First Navigation] KENTA & Kenta Kobashi vs Mitsuharu Misawa & Naomichi Marufuji
A fun tag match with KENTA and Kobashi trying their best to chop and kick the soul out of Marufuji.

[2019-07-07-Impact-Slammiversary XVII] Sami Callihan vs Tessa Blanchard
I'm not to big on inter gender matches but since I watch Impact on the regular I kept up with the build for this. While it was good I still had concerns about how things would play out and they surprised me. This is the perfect way to do these types of matches and they had the perfect performers in these roles. Tessa was the sympathetic babyface everyone wanted to beat the asshole heel in Sami. Just the simple story of her giving all she had but coming up short in the end was brilliantly done. And the aftermath of Sami handing her the bat giving her a endorsement made her come off like the biggest star in the company. Damn good match.

[2019-07-07-Impact-Slammiversary XVII] Brian Cage vs Michael Elgin
Two big dudes throwing bombs and doing high spots, what's not to love? This easily the best Brian Cage has looked since moving in the main event scene and once again Michael Elgin delivers in big matches during his Impact tenure. This two went all out and didn't let up one one bit with crazy pacing. I was already digging this match but when Elgin countered the drill claw with a canadian destroyer I popped out my chair and the finish left both guys looking good, loved every minute.

[2019-07-14-WWE-Extreme Rules] Aleister Black vs Cesaro
A tremendous sprint of excellent striking, submissions and logic. You could totally see this being in a G1 and one of the top WWE matches of the year for me.

[2019-06-30-AJPW-Dynamite Series 2019: Day Seven] Kento Miyahara vs Yoshitatsu
Miyahara was in top form defending his triple crown against tag partner Yoshitatsu. He did the role of heel to perfection since the hot crowd was firmly behind Yoshitatsu. He conveyed the cocky confident champion excellently, from his facials to that strut he did was on point. Yoshitatsu probably had the match of his career. He such a great job being the face and working underneath that he got the crowd actually believing that he could secure the win. A definitely a MOTYC.

[2019-06-30-AJPW-Dynamite Series 2019: Day Seven] Violent Giants (Shuji Ishikawa & Suwama) vs The End (Odinson & Parrow)
What a hoss brawl this was, just rough and stiff. SUWAMA and Ishikawa stake their claim as one of the top tag teams in the world by carrying limited performers in Parrow and Odinson to their best match ever.

[2019-07-05-Riptide-Point Break] Cara Noir vs PAC
The layout for this was fantastic . PAC doing his slow methodical offense while sprinkling some high spots in between was also fantastic. Also he was great heeling on the crowd getting everyone to support Cara. Cara had hot hope spots and played the underdog very well keeping both strong in the end despite the loss.

[2019-07-06-NJPW-G1 Climax 29: Night One] Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Kazuchika Okada
Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada know their formula and they do it with great effect. This was a brilliant condensed fast paced version of their past battles taking you on an experience only these two can. There was no wasted time with both trying to secure the victory, building on their piror G1 draws that gave this match more urgency to it. Perfect way to end the first night of G1 and add another one to the book of greatest wrestling rivalry in the modern era.

[2019-07-06-NJPW-G1 Climax 29: Night One] KENTA vs Kota Ibushi
This match accomplished it's task of establishing KENTA as a legit threat for the start of the G1. Ibushi was unselfish by giving his body for punishment by taking kicks, slaps, forearms, and etc. At the end this was ok, not bad but it didn't hit my high expectations. He may not be the KENTA of old but he got the job done and when he is fully confident in himself you can bet he'll crank out stellar performances.

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
I really hope they can work something out with LAX. I can see them doing well in NXT then get losted on the main roster. AEW would be nice for them but will they be a top act like they are now? Impact needs to take that money they're paying RVD and now Rhino and give it to LAX and Killer Kross.

NJPW G1 Climax 2019
Great way to kick off the first night of the G1. Archer/Ospreay, SANADA/ZSJ, and Okada/ Tanahashi all delivered. Ibushi/ KENTA was really good and Ibushi slowed the pace down to accommodate KENTA well. A major gripe I had with the show was they really should've covered up the empty areas or had better camera work. In some angles it looked bad and I didn't know if it was New Japan's or AXS at the helm but that was not a pretty sight.
