Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
One of the wall name that has certainly been talking to WWE a lot lately - Scott D'Amore. Not a lot of other available people have run TV wrestling companies at any level. Could also see him as the wrestling guy in charge if they put in a corporate guy as the figurehead.

AEW TV - January 10 - 13, 2024 - Just gimme some Mone
The good Sting matches have been wild spotfests in AEW, which would be something I'd turn to the Bucks for over FTR.

Continental Classic
The answer is you don't do the 3 way tie. I think they go with a Mox-White draw, and Swerve winning to get to the next round. I still think we're getting to Danielson and Kingston as the top two on the other side.

I don't know if it's quite that cynical, but I do think she may not be particularly bothered if they want to pay her to not work. I'm sure she wants to take her shot at WWE SuperStardom, but it doesn't strike me with her that that's her be all end all.

Current New Japan
Mox worked in Japan LAST MONTH. FTR worked multiple shows in Japan and in England. Eddie Kingston did the G1. Gates of Agony and Lance Archer are currently in tag league. Plus all these guys get to do big matches as part of Forbidden Door. Further, I really don't think any of these guys are looking to do full tours. When Ospreay "wants to work New Japan," I assume it means he wants to work the Tokyo Dome and maybe one or two other big shows. TK's shown that be very plausible. That's a real difference with WWE, where they've only shown a willingness to work with New Japan on guys already committed there (Good Brothers). NJPW is absolutely the junior partner at the moment and they know it.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
There were a lot of reasons for the strike. And streaming residuals are still a cost, even if they're low compared to old network ones. Taking the shows off the streaming services can also allow a write off for tax purposes to be accelerated. Again, a much bigger deal for expensive television shows than for old territory content. I think it's the simper answer you point out above - there's just no motivation to upload the new content, especially with how buried it is on Peacock.

That's due to residuals being paid to the creators/actors. WWE does very little of that.

WWE Survivor Series - War Games - 11/24 - What Do You See?
I've been fascinated at the number of people I know personally who are AEW fans but still love Punk and are excited for this. Makes me wonder if this really might put a bit of a dent in AEW if this foes well.

Current New Japan
If you open the full show on the app, it seems to automatically go into a playlist sort of format. It's seamless, but appear to be watching individual files.

Commentary teams for MSG, Philadelphia Spectrum, Boston Gardens and MLG 1984-1992
Ticket sales were declining, so showing the shows for free no longer made sense.

Current New Japan
Did they really almost perfectly set up Mox-Ospreay, with Mox cheering as his young boy valiantly fought but then was brutally defeated, only to insert fucking David Finlay?

AEW TV 10/18-10/21 Edge Mysterio edition
Those matches with Danielson were terrible. He's gotten better and is used better than he was then.
-
AEW TV - 10/25 - 10/28 - Rudderless Pumpkins
No one talking about how great that main event was? And that they went with a clean finish after all the talk of run ins?

AEW TV - 10/10 - 10/14 - For Me It Was Tuesday
Yeah, oddly, I thought they'd have been better letting it be quieter. It's Juice's deal, Max has talked about it - let it be based on that. It gets weirder when you call out the reference.

AEW TV - 9/27 - 9/30 - The Ramp That Kills
I don't get it either. ROH badly overpushed Vincent at points, but as a mid-card team, they're great and I think a very useful piece of the puzzle.
-
AEW TV - 9/27 - 9/30 - The Ramp That Kills
It absolutely was. Knox not counting the pin was a tell, as was Roberts' saying "And sti-new AEW International Champion..." I assume Mox is getting the belt back when he's ready, but the Fenix reign is a nice bit of lemonade out of lemons.

Current New Japan
Sanada against any AEW wrestler > Sanada vs EVIL.

AEW All Out - Dynamite
Still thinking about how hard Danielson and Starks hit each other.

CM Punk Fired
The Bucks, for example, very obviously looked up to Mysterio (in their children's book, a character who is clearly Mysterio is their inspiration) and the Hardyz (evidence everywhere of that). I also think there's a lot of people who look up to Danielson and ask him for advice. He's just not a prick about it.

People who only had one match in a company?
3 (2 of them in one night).

AEW All In Wembley - 8/27 - Bruv, This Has All The Makings
I though it was, but apparently it's a swipe of a WWF/SWS show name! https://www.cagematch.net/?id=1&nr=15940

Current New Japan
New Japan was always buoyed by the guests pre-pandemic, but it's worse now. If the show doesn't have AEW guys, it's just not a must-see. Call me when they fly in Mox, Danielson and Omega.

AEW TV (8/16 - 8/19)
One other aspect there - a heel Ricky who gets cheered allows a Max babyface turn to not be so sudden. He can be the "babyface" in the feud without having to get a 100% pure reaction. Also, Cole-Starks is a match that hasn't happened before (at least not on a big stage) and seems like it would work.

AEW TV (8/16 - 8/19)
Pretty sure this is Ospreay's hazing. Gotta carry Jericho in a stadium to get his run.
