I think they'd do fine. The Sami Zayn feud is a good example of Braun giving to his opponents while still keeping his aura. You can book underdogs against him until the end of time and run those matches Boss Rock mentioned. I don't think we would have another Brock situation on our hands where he can't realistically feud with anyone due to his positioning. Braun knows how to give.

Yup Horowitz doesn't belong here at all. Nobody with at least a rudimentary wrestling IQ would tell you that Horowitz sucked.

Smackdown has had a problem getting guys tv time since the draft started. Guys disappear for months at a time for no reason. They really need a C-Show presence.

This is the first WWE DVD I've purchased in years and I finally got a chance to sit down and watch it today. It's amazing. I would buy a set like this of just try out matches. And is it just me or is Andre completely shitfaced in that Studd match?

They could have made the Dolph stuff entertaining if the gave him the Poochie treatment like they hinted at. Go completely over the top with the presentation. Turn him into a walking Mountain Dew commercial.

Did Otunga commentate a single Raw? IIRC he was drafted to Raw in the last draft.

That sucks. Rusev is a guy I would want on my roster no matter what. I've never seen a bad Rusev segment. He's been handed plenty of garbage but nothing was ever bad because of him specifically. The guy went out of his way to make whatever he was doing work. A big guy who can work with anyone, has tons of personality in which they barely scratched the surface, is believable, can talk.... why can't you find productive uses for someone like that?

So what was the deal with the Abraham Washington Show? I've been watching the excellent 2009 ECW for the first time since it aired. These segments were so bizarre. They were horribly bad but not in a typical WWE-way. Was this a rib on somebody? Vince trying to make some kind of point about late night talk shows? I have no idea and I've never heard anyone talk about it. Tony Atlas was tremendous though!

Ron Killings would have all sorts of metal stuff hanging off his pants and his belt, plus whatever jewelry he had on. I always imagined being his opponent would not be fun.

It is weird to think Internet wrestling fans suck at understanding wrestling. There are plenty of people that get annoyed about excessive PDA or couples that are incredibly involved in themselves. This is an incredibly common trope in Sitcoms and common thing for people to BITCH about. Thus it is an easy way to get heat. This is NOT difficult to get Plus a million. This isn't complicated. They're like the couple that has a joint Facebook account. Who doesn't hate those people?

I hate that Cena had to be Rusev's first opponent after the injury. I have no issue with Rusev losing to Cena but they could have taken advantage of the time away to revitalize Rusev. Now it feels like back to the same old. Smackdown lately has had a real problem pairing up the right guys and finding things for them to do.

Black has already wrestled on Main Event so it's probably happening sooner rather than later. They did the same thing with Kalisto when he was called up.

I'm watching WWE ECW all the way through and I feel there was untapped potential in the Shelton/Elijah Burke team they teased. Shelton yelling the lyrics in his theme music is cringe worthy though. He's a guy who probably came in at the wrong time - when they would hit you over the head with someone's weaknesses instead of highlighting their strengths. The company still does that to an extent but it's nowhere near as blatant as it was back then.

Was WWE ECW only occasionally in HD once the company switched over in 2008?

That was really weird. Sasha came across as very petty. Is there an issue between those two?
