Was that Jericho's dad in the crowd?

Rollins theme music kicks ass.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
Probably the right finish for where these guys are positioned right now. I liked the Big E/Rusev matches better.

The girls tried but they couldn't get on the same page. Sloppy match.

WWE Battleground: Live as it happens
I was yelling at my screen like a total mark in that third fall. Tremendous fun. Rowan particularly looked awesome.

Who trained whom? [70s/80s]
Did Stu actually train anybody besides maybe his kids? I always thought that was a kayfabe thing. For example, guys that maybe already had some experience went up there and Stu stretched them. Stretched = training. I was never under the impression that he was teaching guys how to bump or anything like that.

Your personal most Overrated and Underrated
Owen was anything but boring, he had so much natural instinct, everything he did looked so effortless without coming across as lazy. Care to elaborate?

If not Roma, then who?
What if Davey Boy Smith turns heel two years early? It's so batshit insane that it could be fun. Imagine the promos about FLAIUH and the AWSEMEN.

Your personal most Overrated and Underrated
I've been watching a lot of old ECW on the network and my pick for underrated is Mikey Whipwreck. The kid just understood a lot of little things right off the bat and he was always fun to watch. He's having good matches with a wide variety of guys and always delivers. For overrated I would go with Kurt Angle. I know he's no sacred cow around these parts but most people out there think he's one of the greatest of all time. The spotty psychology in his matches gets very annoying.

Is it confirmed that Del Rio is non-renewing his contract? Because the dude stillwrestles his ass off. They have to be able to find something for him?

Commonly used words and phrases that annoy you
I hate the term "Attitude Era"

Most Brutal Instance of "Color"...
He didn't. Flair said in his book that Savage was the only person to ever cut him without asking permission and he was pretty pissed about it.

Matches that are too short
If it's SummerSlam you're talking about, I think the time they were given was just fine for those particular workers. They didn't wrestle at King of the Ring.

Flair has been pretty open about not being into that stuff due to his upbringing, just alcohol. Wouldn't surprise me if he did but you don't hear any Flair coke stories. The big time video game players back in the day were Shelton, DLo, Stevie, Kane and Booker. Not really seeing it.

Whose rep was particularly boosted by the Apter mags?
Misawa was basically treated as a god by PWI

Anybody else get a Luger landing on the USS Intrepid vibe from Swagger on Monday?

The Steve Austin Show
When I heard Russo was a Ziggler fan, I couldn't help but think about his BATB 2000 rant: I'M HERE FOR DA GUYS WHO GIVE A SHIT! I'M HERE FOR DA DOLPH ZIGGLER'S!

I think in a lot of places, people think if somebody isn't a title contender right away, they're a failure. You know, the people who thought Fandango was a complete flop because "Fandangoing" didn't lead to him main eventing PPVs. My opinion on Adam Rose is that if he can settle into a nice Godfather role and ride that out for a few years, that's a success. The dude is 35, which is ancient by developmental years. Good for him if he can.

Does anyone still watch wrestling on videotapes?
I've got a bunch of old Portland at the end of some of my 1997 Shotgun Saturday Night tapes. Good times!

In regards to Bo Dallas, I think the best thing to do to get him super hot right now is to keep having him mention Daniel Bryan on TV every week. Then when Bryan is finally ready to return, it leads to the slaughter job to end all slaughter jobs. Bryan kicks his head off his shoulders and just annihilates him. Then Bo can come back from that saying how he's still looking up to the stars and won't let it set him back, adding a little bit of toughness to his character. The kind of shit that ECW used to do to get their "wimpy"characters over.

The more I hear about Benoit, the more he seems like a total jackass. It's amazing this stuff was hidden for so many years. It just seemed strange that JR was head of talent for so long and thought Chris was completely straight. MVP brought this up like yeah, this is common knowledge JR...

Bray Wyatt - Face?
I'm wondering if Bray Wyatt sit down interviews with Jim Ross would work.
