Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
All of the "Superstars of Wrestling" logos are blurred out on the new Warrior bluray. I forgot, what was the trademark issue with this?

I actually posted this in another thread, I couldn't believe it was him. He was doing a wild/savage gimmick in ECW so his look was obviously needed to be different, but nothing said this was the same MSG jobber other than the name.

The Steve Austin Show
Swig of beer for the pirate! Save your money kid! I can listen to Austin talk about anything, dude is fucking hilarious.

Corny played ball with them recently when they did the history of SMW piece for the website, here's hoping he can play nice here too. That would be quite the acquisition.

The No-Compete Clause
you're right, I think what he meant is "we need to keep tighter strings on these guys to prevent something like this from happening"

Ted improved quite a bit during the DiBiase Posse stuff at the end. I wouldn't say he was some missed opportunity or anything like that, but he was showing potential and was much more comfortable as a face. From everything that's been reported you can tell he wasn't comfortable being a bad guy. He was definitely miscast with that million dollar man sequel stuff.

Is there anybody who deteriorated younger and quicker than Piper? I can't watch him stumble through anything after 1992.

The No-Compete Clause
I was watching a shoot with Big Daddy V and he mentioned that Luger walking out in 1995 was basically the start of the No Compete-Clause as a standard procedure. I got to thinking, with no competition today, is the clause still needed? What purpose does it serve in today's business model?

There was also a very good Piper promo from around the time Cena was forced to join the Nexus about the importance of the WWE Championship.
- How profitabe was ECW?

Jesus Christ, it's like he's patting himself on the back for everyone he's ever buried. That's some seriously smark targeting shit right there!

Big E really needs a JR type on commentary to get him over. Put over how he can bench over 500 lbs, etc. Put over what his finisher is actually doing. I never liked finishers that end in a front bump since logically the opponent should be able to protect himself, they need to say how he's crushing their lower back or something. And he needs to talk more.

from everything I've heard, it was simply time constraints.

"He's ambitiously stupid" - Why Scott Keith's new book is scary bad
Keith and those types annoy me in that there is literally NOTHING that they can like or praise without having to turn in their smark membership card. For example, he's been shitting all over the past few months of TV. Because except for the two or three *** and **** we get in just one show, the rest of the show SUCKS. THUMBS DOWN

To each their own I guess. I still enjoy watching him work.

I think Ambrose turning on his teammates would work. Dude just doesn't seem right as a face.

Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)
Thirty is too many people for a battle royal, I would be ok with twenty. I can definitely see them filling spots with "Wrestlemania Legends" like Duggan and Slaughter. I would prefer they actually put some effort into getting midcard guys in meaningful programs in time for Mania, but at this stage whatever.

WWE Network... It's Here
Actually, they've used WWC footage with their permission before. The Colon's were featured on the Greatest Wrestling Families DVD and there was WWC footage from the early 2000's on the documentary.

WWE Hall of Fame 2014
Didn't Carlos and Gino work out a deal to get WWWF wrestlers work in Puerto Rico and vice versa?

WWE Network... It's Here
Isn't he supposed to be playing Benoit in a movie?

WWE Hall of Fame 2014
Hmm, Carlito is out of the company and Primo doesn't really "exist" anymore. Who inducts Carlos?

Don't know where all this "Batista has to be champion when the movie comes out" stuff is coming from. When have they done this before? I doubt people watching the movie are gonna give a fuck who the WWE Champion is. And let's just say somebody watching GOTG decides to tune into WWE programming because of Batista. Are they going to change their mind because he's not the champion? I think as long as Batista is in a featured role, that's all that matters.
