No worries. We're doing some similar stuff. I should've worked from the top of the card down instead of trying to game "who's most famous/popular/likely to get picked," which never actually works out.

Joeg is now my sworn draft enemy. You have all been robbed of hypothetical shoot style Steiners vs Hashimikov/Zangiev.

As the guy who wanted to make this exact pick, I endorse them as a team.

Your pick is safe because joeg is almost certainly picking the guy I have slotted next. Unless we all have the same guy.

I think he's being time-and-space shifted by alien transport rays. Should be painless, if somewhat disorienting.

She doesn't look like a Ralph, but naming conventions will certainly change over the course of 300 years. Carry on.

I've got a proxy list I can send, and I'm also online more often than not so I can hold lists for other people if they want. At the same time, I think people need to accept that a project this size is going to take more than a couple days. I'd be surprised if we got through it faster than two weeks, honestly.

I can't believe I lost Zrno and Schumann from the depth chart this early. Bravo, man. Bravo. In St Louis, Steve Williams will challenge (1992) Nobuhiko Takada for the World Heavyweight Championship of Professional Wrestling. dkookyPunk up next.

When you get a minute, can we get the first post with the list of who's been drafted update? Thanks! And now, the traditional draft song. (I am dumb and don't know how to post video.)

Really dedicated fans will have chips in their heads and wrestling will be uploaded directly into their brains.

Yeah, I'd guess he went heels-first figuring they'd be in greater demand, while there'd be less competition for top shelf Mexican technicos so he could hold off on those for later rounds. Smart.

Whatever he's planning, Jake and Hansen are a great foundation. I'm assuming they're his lead heels.

I applaud these many excellent picks which do not affect my plans in any way.

Another thing I'd suggest for future rounds - if you think you won't be able to check in when your turn comes around, maybe PM your pick to whoever comes after you in the draft order, so they can post for you and then make their own pick.

And the lesson is don't institute 24 hour turns if you're not willing to wait 24 hours.

If Wrestlingdata is accurate, 67 times from October '88 to March '89, not counting Survivor Series or Royal Rumble. Mid January to March is virtually every other night.

Literally the first thing I bought off the internet was a two tape Best of '89 set I got in '96. It had the Flair/Steamboat series, Flair/Funk I Quit, a Rockers/Brainbusters SNME match, and some Maeda/Takada and Jumbo/Tenryu stuff I didn't really appreciate at the time. Not bad for $20.
