  1. the first Fujita Jr. Hayato vs. Koji Kanemoto match seemed to get unaminous praise from everyone that saw it. 13 minutes, clear story, clear roles, a crowd reacting exactly as you would want them to and solid believable action. And it's not too gruesomely stiff that people who don't like that would be put off. just watched this again recently and talked about it on my Michinoku Pro show last week. We described it as non-stop smiles.
  2. I think Tomohiro Ishii is a great example of a modern journeyman. From WAR to Michinoku Pro to World Japan to New Japan hitting every little indy in between. Always a workhorse but he's just now getting his due.
  3. I can't think of a more fitting thread to make my first post here than this topic. I'm with you man, one of the all time great tag teams that did so much and quite frankly could have done so much more. I think Can-Ams vs. Steiners circa 1992 would have been my all time dream match that never happened. They were such a perfect combo. Doug would come in and do these incredible feats of athleticism like the rana, the highest dropkick ever and the backflip corner charge. Then you'd have Danny bringing the structure and putting together these ridiculous finishing runs with all these twists and turns. They should have unquestionably been given a run with the main tag titles, although they really put the All Asia version on the map for a while there (kinda like Sekimoto and Okabayashi in 2011).
