NWA Powerrr
Well, to be fair, they're framing Aron "I forgot an A in my name and never got any A's in school" Stevens getting a title shot as a tribute to Jocephus/The Question Mark, which is not the worst idea in the world - especially if this is a catalyst to make Stevens more of a serious main event character. We know he has the talent.

Good matches "ruined" by their endings
You don't even need to do that. You can highlight only what you want to quote and a little "Quote selection" box will pop up. Click that, and then rinse and repeat as needed. (On desktop anyway. Not sure about mobile.)

WWE TV 03/15 - 03/21 Bayern Munchen to repeat as UCL champions
WrestleMania ticket sales are delayed. Wanna bet Vince is opening up the show to full capacity because his bitch friend Dana White just did the same?

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Does that implicate Ric O. Chet by association?

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
It all starts from the top. Road Dogg and Drake Wuertz would be fired on the spot if I were the one in charge of that, while other Q-Zombies on the roster like Bobby Fish would be taken off TV, forced to volunteer at hospitals, and take classes until they wake the fuck up. If they refuse, I'd future endeavor them and publicly state the reason why - leaving AEW or any other viable alternative with massive egg on their faces if they try picking up any of these assholes. But it's sleazy, slimy, stuck in the '70s rasslin', so they'll all get promotions, raises, and/or increased pushes.

WWE Hall of Fame 2020-21
The notifications on this site have always been wonky at best, but I was greeted with this today: Notifications El-P El-P quoted you in a topic: WWE Hall of Fame 2020-21 14 hours ago El-P El-P quoted you in a topic: WWE Hall of Fame 2020-21 14 hours ago El-P El-P quoted you in a topic: WWE Hall of Fame 2020-21 14 hours ago Thank the Good Lord that @El-P didn't actually quote me three times in a row. Anyway, yes, Sable should probably be in, but you're discounting Molly for being "just a good worker" when the Mighty Molly and head shaving storylines were both over, and her presence and lack of selfishness made the entire division look as good as it possible could have in the Laurinaitis Barbie Doll model era. Molly was - dare I say it - one of the top 5 WWE "divas" of her era.

Most Athletic Wrestler Ever
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Apollo Crews yet. Jushin Liger in his prime surely qualifies too.
-
WWE Hall of Fame 2020-21
I imagine he'll still get in eventually, but probably only as "Edge and Christian." Billy Gunn got in with DX while working for AEW, so I can see WWE trying to pull that card for 2022. Whether Khan would still allow it at that point is another story. Right now, he seems very open to things like that. Another years of BS from WWE might harden him more.

WWE Hall of Fame 2020-21
What?! Molly should have been in years ago, way before Barbie Doll models like Torrie WIlson, who was the least over character of the three in the Torrie-Al Wilson-Dawn Marie soap opera. If we're talking about top five Attitude Era stars who aren't in yet, that conversation begins and ends with Christian.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Where is this stuff about Wuertz being a pillhead coming from? The other stuff - being a Q-Tip and orange embarrassment - are self-explanatory.

The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
Not that I'm advocating violence, but I kinda wish he would. Is the Penelope Ford character even presented as a slut in any way? Not that I've seen. It's just more misogynistic crap from a career coward who knows no one will actually drill him in the mouth for anything he says.

AEW Dynamite - March 10, 2021
All of that is certainly true, but I'd still take Dusty at his worst with his most excessive bad habits over Nash at his very best (which was still dire). This paints a more complete picture. Can't really fault Nash for that. Is this what led to Dusty's departure from WCW and unlikely late-career ECW stint feuding with Steve Corino? Corino is someone who never become the star post-ECW that I thought he would.

AEW Dynamite - March 10, 2021
Imagine someone as creatively boring as Nash being so arrogant that he wouldn't want the help of one of the greatest bookers of all time (Dusty wasn't without his issues - Dusty Finishes, focusing on himself, etc. - but he was galaxies ahead of Nash.)

#SpeakingOut: Industry-wide sexual misconduct (assault/harrassment/grooming/etc) accusations and their repercussions
I'm not a fan of Fox News at all, but not everyone there is terrible. Most of the night hosts are completely awful (Tucker Carlson, etc.), but Chris Wallace during the day is okay. Irritates the shit out of me with his smug little look, but he's a far cry from the Carlsons of the world. Either way, this is a very bad take. No one deserves to be sexually harassed.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
This tweet is so downright disingenuous, so obviously profit-motivated, that it may as well say ""philanthropy is the future of marketing, it's the way brands r going 2 win"

AEW Revolution
LOL. But, damn, things haven't really gotten that bad around here, have they?

The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
Jim Cornette isn't even bothering to hide or "code" his blatant homophobic comments against Kenny Omega anymore. https://itrwrestling.com/news/jim-cornette-on-aew-revolution-explosion-yall-should-be-ashamed-of-yourself/ Kind of ironic coming from a guy whose character was a walking 1980s gay stereotype himself.

WWE Hall of Fame 2020-21
Why does Malia hate Molly? I always liked Malia, but yeah, she comes across as super-bitter.

WWE TV 03/08 - 03/14 Giannis really went 16/16
That damned fool doesn't recognize Top 5 when he sees it, probably because he hasn't had a Top 5 hit himself since the Attitude Era.

NWA Powerrr
As useless as Lagana was, firing him for being a sex pest, only to turn around and hire the even more useless sex pest Brodus Clay is a real head-scratcher to me. They actually expect people to pay money for this shit?!?! Yeah, no, not happening!

AEW Revolution
That someone was me, and you've mentioned it ad nauseum in multiple threads already. It's almost as if you're following me from thread to thread and gleefully repeating what I said like a crazed stalker with a walkie talkie or ham radio who has to broadcast "the signal" to anyone and everyone. You're usually one of the best posters here, but you seem to be in quite the weird mood these days. Everything okay with you, man? How did he do with matches like Pillman vs. Liger? Or was he already gone by then? I don't think so, but I can't remember for sure.

WWE TV 03/08 - 03/14 Giannis really went 16/16
I've never heard such a bizarre rationale in my life. So, Bret Hart and Ric Flair weren't good wrestlers? etc. etc. etc.

2026 Ideas
Keep mentioning this in every thread and I might just join the GWE and start a tweet campaign to get Christian voted #1. I just gave you a follow. Similar name on Letterboxd so look for that. I love "Crazy, Stupid, Love." but you're right that the babysitter subplot is absolutely bonkers, haha. That would never make into in a movie today, so it's crazy to think this was released only ten years ago. All good points, but the way people talk about the last one, you'd think they were exhausted war veterans who just emerged from the battlefield after barely surviving the conflict that tipped the scales of all they fought for.

2026 Ideas
If you don't mind, link me to your Letterboxd. If you'd rather not do it in public, feel free to PM me. I am an avid moviegoer and Letterboxd user myself. As for the GWE, I didn't join in 2016 and probably won't in 2026 because it seems like way too much of a time commitment to be fun to me. I admire everyone else's dedication though. Just don't let it suck the enjoyment out of wrestling for you (which seemed to be the case for a few folks).
