If it happens, and that's a BIG IF, I don't see Roman losing. Yeah, it's amazing for Big E to even be in that spot, but so what? 1. It wouldn't be the main event. 2. It would be another Triple H bigfooting Booker, just hopefully without the racial element. I'm not saying Roman necessarily should lose, but still. It's probably all a moot point anyway, as it doesn't exactly feel like they're gearing up for a Big E push. Then again, Drew McIntyre was ice cold before winning the Royal Rumble, so anything's possible. Still, Heyman's endorsement will probably hurt more than help, knowing how petty this company is. This is really common in WWE because of the McMahons' apparent tanning fetish. It's one of the absolute worst parts of the product for me.

Corgan has had months to figure out a replacement for Lagana, who never struck me as particularly smart and savvy anyway. Anyone who admits openly than Nick Aldis was the NWA's third choice (way to bury the champ!) and does more with The Question Mark than Eddie Kingston ain't exactly irreplaceable. As for everyone asking for their releases, there are dozens more where those came from. Plus, I assume they still have their core group of Nick Aldis, Tim Storm, Joscephus, Aaron Stevens, Kamille, etc. (Is Eli Drake still there?) I agree that empty arena studio wrestling sounds sad, but at least the studio setting is unique compared to other venues. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if there's an arrangement between AEW and the NWA too.

I know I have a rep as the anti-PAC guy here, but I agree with every word of this post. Well, okay, I'm not sure I'd call him "the best" in, well, anything - but he is very good as an opening card flippy cruiserweight-type guy who heats up a crowd and show for ten minutes before the stars come out.

Haven't watched the show yet, but I am firmly on the Eddie Kingston train. Not using him properly really exposed that the NWA didn't always necessarily have its finger on the pulse (as much fun as I had watching Powerrr for a while).

Where is this from? There was no reason whatsoever to believe that AJ was looking to leave WWE around that time. If anything, he was just coming off a really hot run.
