NXT Halloween Havoc: Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal, Put on the Coal Miner's Glove
Not sure why they're mentioning Rey vs. Eddy when this match has no hope in hell of coming close to that.

Pat McAfee is great. Let's hope he doesn't contract Covid from that useless, maskless, anti-science chav Burch.

NXT Halloween Havoc: Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal, Put on the Coal Miner's Glove
I don't usually like garbage matches, especially WWE-style, but that was fun and creative. Admittedly, I went in with low expectations, but this has been a great show so far.

NXT Halloween Havoc: Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal, Put on the Coal Miner's Glove
I know this is technically not a PPV since it's airing on USA Network, but fuck it, this is the first Halloween Havoc in 20 years and deserves its own thread. *and a win for WWE in the Great Copyright Wars of 2020 between Jerry McDevitt and Cody Rhodes North American Championship: Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Damian Priest © vs. Johnny Gargano NXT Women’s Championship: Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Io Shirai © vs. Candice LeRae Grudge Match Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel González Haunted House of Terror Match Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes Cruiserweight Non-Title Match Santos Escobar © vs. Jake Atlas Card subject to change because of Covid-19, sloppy shops, and feral redneck Road Doggs.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
I agree with this. If Rey in his prime and Ricochet were on the same roster, the clear choice would be Rey every time. Heck, Rey way past his prime now is still the clear choice over Ricochet. As you said, Rey is bulletproof in a way Ricochet isn't. Win or lose, Rey looks cool, does cool moves, has cool costumes, and will always be cool and an attraction to kids and general audiences with his bright outfits and flashy moves. As much as we lament WWE not knowing what to do with Ricochet, he's not entirely blameless IMO. He desperately needs to bring something else to the table that he isn't currently. The guy is a total bore and dud outside the ring, not only personality-wise but also in terms of gear, presentation, etc. That's not something you could ever say about Rey.

#SpeakingOut: Industry-wide sexual misconduct (assault/harrassment/grooming/etc) accusations and their repercussions
I have no idea what the one poster here actually said, so I can't comment. All I see now is some weird shit about how this board is trying to "cancel" him. Huh? Holy shit! I thought I was the only one who remembered this gimmick. It lasted, what, 3-4 weeks and then was never referenced again.

The logical conclusion to draw is that Keith Lee will become the new Papa Shango and reunite with his NXT ally Mia Yim.

#SpeakingOut: Industry-wide sexual misconduct (assault/harrassment/grooming/etc) accusations and their repercussions
Serial sexual predator and litigious douchebag Joseph Meehan (Joey Ryan) has started a GoFundMe called "Justice for Joey." I won't link to it, for obvious reasons, but this is a real doozy... There are no words. He has raised only $245, and it wouldn't surprise me if some of that came from his own pocket.

I am not disagreeing with either of you about Ricochet, but you do lose me with the Rey comparison. Rey was never a strong mic worker and still isn't, but even at his worst, he was miles better than Ricochet. He also has a much cooler look than Ricochet. Colorful masks, colorful gear, colorful moves. Ricochet has the colorful moves but nothing else. (I can't speak to his presentation in Lucha Underground, as I never had access to it at the time.) I'm not sure what the solution is, but I do agree with you guys that it starts with Ricochet actually being used on the show.

Riddle is a liability. They clearly want to jump off that sinking ship or hope the ship disappears at sea so they can start pushing him again. Either/or would probably be fine with this company.

That's a complicated question.

WWE TV 10/26 - 11/1 Afa and Sika endorsed the Usos getting beat up
What I said in the PPV thread still stands: I want Jimmy and Jey to take that hurt, that pain, that shock, that betrayal, and use it against Afa and Sika in the most savage manner possible. Beat the shit out of them, spill their blood, bite their flesh off. Then turn to Roman and SCREAM: "How do like THAT, Uce???" (I've been watching too many horror movies. Can you tell?)

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
Ricochet absolutely should be used better. Unfortunately, he has no personality whatsoever. He's like a blank sheet of paper whenever a microphone is placed in front of him. Not that I'm defending WWE, but I have to imagine it's hard for Vince/Bruce/the writers to get excited about a guy with such an obvious lower-midcard ceiling. Where the company is failing is not using throwaway shows like Main Event to give guys like Ricochet more practice on the mic and multiple opportunities to try stuff out, fail, and try again on a show where nothing matters. Putting them out there for 8-minute "good rasslin" filler matches is completely useless, because that is never, ever going to be the avenue for a guy to elevate himself up the card.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
There was a trial on Smackdown - "Law and Otis" - with JBL as the judge. JBL was bribed by Miz and ruled that Otis had to defend the briefcase against Miz tonight at the Hell in a Cell PPV. Tucker smashed Otis in the head with the case, turned heel, and Miz took advantage of the interference to win the match and Money in the Bank briefcase. Tucker's excuse was that he was tired of Otis getting the spotlight, tired of carrying Otis, and Otis cannot "tie his shoes" or "function" without Tucker.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
If Otis still had the case, Orton winning would make a lot more sense. Otis cashing in on Orton down the road, with an assist from Edge, would've been a feel-good moment.
