WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
Agreed. But at least the fire extinguisher spot was a logical defensive move.

So much for the women main eventing anything tonight...

WHY, TUCKER, WHY?

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
A useless match, but I guess they wanted to give everyone time to piss and shit - pretty much all Jeff Hardy is useful for.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
Imagine the deep hurt, the severe mental and emotional pain, the sheer shock and betrayal The Usos must be feeling right now after seeing Afa and Sika embrace Roman. Breaks my damn heart...

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
AFA AND SIKA!

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
The finish would've been better if Roman didn't use some weak UFC lock that hardly looked like it would hurt a fly. UFC is the worst thing to ever happen to professional wrestling.

Damn, Roman can act!

Why are all of these useless assholes in the ring?

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
Either the ref is a terrible actor or he's begging Jey Uso to quit for...reasons.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
Prediction: Jimmy Uso comes out and says "I quit" to save his brother from more of a beating from the Tribal Chief.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
That means Drew vs. Randy is probably main eventing. Why? Tired of Vince's "Raw is automatically better" fetish.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
The problem is, he's in the "sports-entertainment" division now, and he's not going to out-(sports) entertain R-Truth.

Remember when Drew Gulak was having amazing matches with Daniel Bryan and seemed to be in the beginning stages of an interesting push?

WWE TV 10/19 - 10/25 No NBA, no happiness
Road Dogg is a blithering redneck imbecile, and to think I once considered him a great Twitter follow (a long time ago, in a land far, far away). Shame about Danny Burch. I used to be fan of his, like ten second ago until I opened this thread and read that he's a selfish, useless prick. I already liked Helms, but he just went up several notches in my book.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 - Family Feud
I've had the Network free for months now - I won some Twitter thing - but it expired recently. This PPV looks strong enough that it got me to re-up, and I'm pretty cold on the product in general. I was actually debating it earlier, and then I realized I used to pay $30-$50 for PPVs with crappy cable box video quality issues, so $10 is a steal for this show and everything else I get along with it.

Is Impact* the best wrestling promotion in history? *(Now TNA again, 2024)
Anxiety is rough, man. If it turns out that her title match on this PPV is indeed what triggered her anxiety, that's a complicated issue, as you said, because it puts both her and any company she works with in a difficult and delicate situation. I'm not sure what the solution is. I hope Kylie gets through it and can move forward.

So, everyone's forgiven the wife-abusing Rich Swann because he's good at the rasslin'? This is where being a wrestling fan is an embarrassment. TNA putting on its title on a guy like this, after the high-profile departures of Joey Ryan and Michael Elgin, is a head-scratcher to me. Su Yung staying in the relationship means diddly shit to me, as abused wives stay for years or even decades. Swann was "cleared of all charges" (Pro Wrestling Sheet), but only because of "insufficient evidence" - which seems all too common in cases like this and doesn't exactly prove his innocence. One of the firings WWE absolutely got right. They used to be smart enough not to stay in bed with people like this. Used to be. On a different note entirely, I hope Kylie's okay... Was it ever reported exactly what happened with her and AEW?

Rock is above "da bidness." Vince, Trips, and WWE need The Rock more than he needs them. Hell, his bailout of Vince purchase of the XFL entitles him to a lifetime "do whatever the fuck he wants" card when it comes to relations with WWE.

AEW Dynamite - October 21, 2020
Keep it classy, Jelly Janela... I see the pros and cons to this: AEW treating its wrestlers like actual "independent contractors" and allowing them to do other things is good under normal circumstances, but moonlighting on indie rasslin' shows - especially when you don't have to - is an absolute hazard during these Covid times.

AEW Dynamite - October 21, 2020
This moment-by-moment pictorial account of the situation makes AEW look so astonishingly bad and unprofessional, mere weeks after the Matt Hardy debacle. https://www.cagesideseats.com/2020/10/22/21529009/alex-reynolds-knocked-out-aew-dynamite-scary-dark-order AEW really needs to get their shit together when it comes to worker safety and concussion protocols.

Riddick Moss: Workrate Warrior
Random post-midnight thought: Anyone surprised that Vince hasn't renamed him Dick Moss yet? Surely the thought has crossed Vince's mind once or twice during those drunken late nights at the office, followed by fits of immature giggling.

NXT really is a dead brand. There is zero discussion about the Wednesday show on PWO - ZERO - every single week. I didn't watch it either, but I'm deliriously thrilled that Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan (with Pat McAfee) are the new NXT Tag Teams Champions. I've always been a fan of those guys - especially Burch - so it's nice to see them getting a real push with a big time manager/wrestler. McAfee exceeded expectations and looked like a major star against "good rassler" Adam Cole a month or two ago.

I haven't seen the segment yet, but an actual Tony Award winner just praised it.

Shit just got real! Politician Andrew Yang goes after WWE. Actress Lea Thompson responds.
Doubt he needs that when the evidence is overwhelming and there are enough former talents (Hager, etc.) ready to bust this wide open. But WWE pissing off people within the company - like a Paige type - probably won't help.
