  1. Murphy is a creep going after 19-year-old Aliyah Mysterio. I'm sure The King approves wholeheartedly.
  2. In this case, your accusation is accurate - I quoted you from Bubba's post. Your longer take makes a ton more sense and I mostly agree. So, to quote the great philosopher Ron Killings, my bad. With that said, cousins do physically fight and scrap a lot - it's not hard to imagine that being taken to the next level by an insecure man who feels the pressure mounting of having to be the "tribal chief" of the family and put food on everyone's table - especially during a pandemic and especially after recovering from leukemia. Plus, as I and others have been mentioned, the "tribal chief" designation is very real in Samoan culture - and it is obviously leading to The Rock coming back since he's legitimately the High Chief of the family now.
  3. There is plenty to complain about in WWE, but people complaining about Roman vs. Jey/Usos, the Tribal Chief stuff, "bad acting," "soap opera shit," etc. are complaining just to complain and will never be happy IMO. In that case, stop watching the product (which is certainly a valid option no one would begrudge you for, because it's often bad) - because you've clearly been soured to the point where nothing is enjoyable anymore. This is the most baffling take: That dismisses a large chunk of wrestling history - Bret vs. Owen, etc. Come on!
  4. Not sure how anyone is classifying Reigns vs. Jey/Usos as "soap opera shit." I think it's a fairy realistic storyline, told very well for a change, with a great backstory that makes their issues understandable and relatable. The Tribal Chief stuff is also legit and is actually going somewhere, since I'm pretty sure Rock is now considered the "High Chief" of the family IRL. Also, to whoever made the comparison, Sami Zayn looks nothing like Dustin Diamond.
  5. Eating all that succotash for five years made this moment sweeter.
  6. Don't be too sure of that. All of the interference tonight probably sets up Hell in a Cell.
  7. That Ambulance Match ended up being a lot of fun. The matches have been very smart and creative tonight.
  8. If Drew loses after all this interference, he's a geek.
  9. I went to get soup and missed that entire match.
  10. Best ladder match in years?
  11. I've never been happier to be wrong!!!
  12. The commentary is so blatantly giving away that Jeff Hardy is winning.
  13. He's had exactly one good match in WWE, and that was his NXT debut against Sami Zayn. He's been disappointing ever since. So, either Zayn is the best wrestler in the company - even better than AJ Styles (and I'd agree to that, but AJ is no slouch) - or Nak has been on cruise control the whole time.
  14. I had that match on and didn't watch a single second of it. "Good rasslin'" means nothing to me in a vacuum when I'm given no reason to care, no one is over or means anything, and the result is a foregone conclusion anyway. Granted, the result is also a foregone conclusion with the Reigns-Jey Uso match, but the difference is, I've been given plenty of reasons to care - and I do. Nakamura is past his prime, but imagine wasting and marginalizing Cesaro for as long as WWE has
  15. I'll second @RazorbladeKiss87's enthusiastic recommendation for HamiltonBook.com. Great website and small business to support, at great prices.
  16. Got news for ya... Things won't change under Hunter or Stephanie. Even Shane. As this famous meme shows, they're all in lockstep with Trump and other politicians and people like Trump. At least The Rock is a grown-up. Being outside the bubble seems to do wonders for most people. But this is Pro Wrestling ONLY, so...
  17. Don't forget Lightning Kid, Kamikaze Kid, Cannonball Kid, and The Kid before that.
  18. I always assumed Waltman came up with this on his own, combining his Syxx-Pac nickname in WCW with DX.
  19. Not singling you out, @FMKK, but attitudes like this are why people are assholes and the world is such a crappy place. It's always a shitty bullying tactic to punch down - as CM Punk so arrogantly and lazily does over and over again - instead of punching up. It paints Phil Brooks as a bitterly insecure man when he has very little reason to be either. Edit: Punk is a saint compared to Ryback though... Ryback about Vince McMahon: "He just created a platform as a human circus that he modified from his father. The guy is a piece of s---, can't stress this enough. World will be a better place when he passes. This isn't wishing death, but stating an opinion I believe to be true." WTF?
  20. Which is probably exactly how the company views it. Even Roman's a heel now after doing the same thing.
  21. Worst governor in the entire fucking country. The sad part is, his opponent was a crackhead who got caught naked and unconscious at an orgy, so the state was screwed either way. FL sucks.
  22. Well, CM Punk is a punk-ass bitch for going after young wrestlers who have zero leverage. Yes, the gimmick sucks, but it's different if you or I go after it - no one cares what we think - vs. Punk, who is an elder statesman that today's wrestlers grew up idolizing. It's cowardly bullshit by Phil Brooks, pure and simple.
  23. And it now leads to something. What an absolute fucking putz! https://cosmicbook.news/pedro-pascal-out-mandalorian-voice-acting-only Edit: Fake news. Please disregard.
  24. "Kane" Glen Jacobs is a useless piece of shit. Wasn't sure where to put this, so here is as good as any, because I'm sure Kane was influenced heavily by the radical Republican political culture of WWE (even though he himself identifies as an even more radical Rand Paul libertarian, he certainly wasted no time puckering up and kissing Trump's ass in his book).
