Lashley being in the opening card U.S. Title scene and nowhere near the World Title is always good news. He's the weak link of The Hurt Business, and it's not even close. Both MVP and Shelton are far more interesting inside the ring and out.

It's WWE, Bubba. Didn't Seth vs. Bray end in a no-contest despite being a Hell in a Cell match? (Either that or some other unmemorable match/stip I've already forgotten.)

What I'd do: Roman beats the living shit out of both guys, going above and beyond the pale, until he's DQed for excessive force. Otis cashes in and wins. Roman destroys Otis in a few months, further cementing his (presumed) heel turn BIG DOG STYLE!

Satin just comes across as so sad and desperate. Even though I'm not a fan, I legitimately feel sorry for the guy. It sucks losing your dream job.

I'm no Finn fan, but I'd argue he's not played out at all. If anything, he's somehow been used worse in this NXT run than he was in his post-injury WWE run. If the result is anything other than them hitting the reset button and going with Finn Balor as champ, it will be the wrong result and beyond stale. Sure, you could argue for better picks - not that any of yours excite me in the least, TBH (except maybe a revitalized Ali actually being used properly) - but Kross's injury was not exactly something they planned for.

Three-person booths are a mess in general, even in the best of times. Like it or not, Mauro has clearly been designated as the star announcer - Nigel and Beth (or whoever) are just there to add garnish. Sour grapes from Corey Graves doesn't change that situation. With that said, I think Mauro and Barrett would work as a team. But it's all theoretical until we actually hear them together. Speaking of which, Mauro and the King are the official voices of the new WWE Battlegrounds game. Great news that will definitely drive those last-minute preorders!

The only hope here is that the "my friend Drew" stuff is leading to a turn. It does seem suspect, as their "close friendship" appears to have materialized out of thin air. I don't remember it ever being mentioned before now. I mean, maybe on Instagram or something, but not in storylines.

I was one of the Keith Lee supporters who bitched about this stuff (not on Twitter), but Seth Rollins can take notes from Keith Lee on how to be supportive of the company you work for without sounding like a total kiss-ass.
