Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
IMO, these releases prove that AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt have zero sway with anyone important in WWE - otherwise, their best friends and dad, respectively, would not have gotten future endeavored. Sad but true.

On April 15th. Those bastards!

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
NJPW of America is a DOA joke - NJPW has zero clue how to navigate the American market - but if Karl can make some scratch for a couple of years while NJPW incompetently bankrolls this inevitably failed experiment, good on him.

Such coldhearted timing on WWE's part. Scumbags!

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Drake Maverick being fired is such a boneheaded decision. He was just as much responsible as R-Truth for the success of the 24-7 division. Lio Rush being fired sucks too, but he'll become a star elsewhere. Gallows and Anderson are shockers because they just main evented WrestleMania. Then again, so did Eric Bischoff. I wonder how AJ Styles must be feeling right now. Not happy, I'm guessing. Releasing Slater is also stupid because you could at least get a mini-program out of him with Drew and/or Drew and Jinder. The rest were expected but still sad. Mike Kanellis lives another day (for now).

The Cancellation of Jim Cornette
I hope all is well with you too, man. I actually defended Cornette (kinda, sorta) in the AEW thread. Or even Piper painting himself half-black at WrestleMania 6. Times change and what's considered appropriate and acceptable changes. People in major media positions don't have the luxury of being old and out of touch.

All Elite Wrestling
Jim Cornette is awful, but Joey Janela is somehow even more pathetic. Janela hasn't accomplished a fraction of what Cornette has, and he brings absolutely nothing to the table as a wrestler or entertainer. I'll never "get" Janela's appeal or understand how he sells out cruises, but good for him, I guess. He probably shouldn't be calling anyone a cuck, BTW, considering that his former girlfriend married the next guy she met. (I realize that's not what a cuck is, but his usage of it is just as inaccurate.)

WrestleMania 36
You are trying to argue with the wrong person - I've never given less of a fuck about anything than I do NASCAR.

WWE TV: April 13th to 19th - Live and Essential
Uh oh... The R-word was mentioned. R meaning Ronda. Guess that is a work after all, to no one's surprise. (Even Nia Jax isn't dumb enough to legitimately say she'd sacrifice her job to pop Rousey "for real.")

The MitB qualifying matches are all predictable slogs with the same formula - one featured star vs. a total jabroni, and the result never in doubt. But Apollo Crews vs. MVP is a genuine surprise - I'll give them that.

WWE TV April 6th through...
Yeah, no, Bubba - this is madness. I liked Bad News Brown as much as the next guy, but he didn't have a fraction of the talent, mic skills, and charisma that Austin possessed. That's okay though, because very few did or do.

WWE Network... It's Here
Is it just me or was the Ric Flair episode of Broken Skull Sessions the weakest yet? Flair seemed to mumble throughout it (but he was still sharp as a tack, if that makes any sense), and nothing really new was revealed. Too much time was spent on his self-confidence issues, which was a drag, to say the least.

WWE TV April 6th through...
I have never believed that, not for a single solitary second. It doesn't pass the smell test for me. Burying them is yanking them off TV, period (which is exactly what happened this time). Putting them in "comedy" segments that resemble hundreds of other "comedy" segments WWE has run over the years, well, that's just par for the course. The Usos fared no better in those segments, and I'd argue ended up looking a whole lot worse than The Revival, as they succumbed to the common WWE trope of being faces who act like shitbag heels but everyone pretends they're virtuous anyway.
