He's also a relic, embarrassment, and liability - especially for a growing company either looking to monetize on YouTube and/or get picked up by a TV network and/or streaming service. I don't anticipate him still being in the NWA six months from now. I just wonder who could possibly step in and fill that spot.

I think that's more of an ego thing though. No one needs to play or understand video games to immediately recognize that 70 is a worse stat than 90.

Justin Roberts is the best ring announcer in the biz, bar none! Jobbers don't get segments and promos on shows though. This is their TNT debut (I think), but they were all over the PPVs before that.

Avalon looks like a Hugh Hefner cosplayer and Leva has blue hair. Neither look like librarians. If they had "lived the gimmick," it might have worked. At least it wouldn't have been quite the failure it was.

Brad Pitt in Seven Years in Tibet and Kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves are two more stinkeroo accents. Costner's kept dropping in and out.

It was an exaggerated Russian accent that's perfect for wrestling. It wouldn't work in a movie, and I don't think she'd try it there, but it worked for wrestling. Who didn't suck in that movie though? Only the very best actors can elevate crap, and while I think Lana is miles ahead of anyone in WWE in the acting dept., I'm not sitting here claiming she's Daniel Day-Lewis. Kane, of all people, was surprisingly good in another WWE flick - to the point where I actually wished he'd had a bigger role. In summary: Lana > Molly Ringwald. (No one will get that joke, but sometimes I like to amuse myself on PWO.)

Sorry, I did not mean to imply racism. I was making a joke about KawadaSmile designing a t-shirt with a smile on it. While that is definitely true, let's not act like WWE has any world class actors on the roster that could come close to anyone in Hollywood. (Well, Miz ain't bad...)

When did @KawadaSmile get hired by WWE? Did he design the Jordan "Smile" t-shirt? Seriously though... You know she's a professional actress who has been in real movies like "Pitch Perfect," right? She is a better actor than everyone else in WWE combined - especially Seth "Burn! It! Down!" Rollins.

Fine, put Russo in a ring with PAC or Callihan, and they'd be cheered and he'd be booed. Audience heat! No one really hates PAC or Callihan, but they all hate Russo.

True, but Oliver didn't make that distinction. All he said was that Russo is the only person in wrestling with real heat - and he is.

Not when everyone on the internet, including PWO, raves about Callihan's comeback with Impact. Any "heat" from the Eddie Edwards situation lasted all of five seconds. White only has "really, this guy?" heat - and I assume people are already changing their minds about that. And I did preface NJPW with "outside Japan." Russo has real heat. Not saying it's the kind of heat that means he should be brought back as a character to draw money with - of course not - but it's not a false statement, and your reaction proves it 100%.

Is he wrong though? Because I sure as shit can't think of a heel with actual heat in wrestling. It ain't Jericho, who the fans still love. It ain't Brock, who isn't so much hated as the company is for constantly overpaying him to sit at home for months at a time. It ain't Bray Wyatt, who the fans love despite being a heel. It ain't Seth Rollins, who no one cares enough about to feel any genuine morsel of heat for. It ain't anyone in NJPW (at least outside of Japan). It ain't anyone in Impact, NWA, MLW, ROH, etc. because they all get underdog love by the relatively few people following those promotions. Russo, though, he has heat, bro. It's the wrong kind of heat, bro. It's not the kind of heat, bro, that will generate revenue, bro. But it's still more heat, bro, than any of the above, bro. In all seriousness (...bro...), it's also perfectly fine heat for someone starting a podcast, because the bigger the trainwreck, the bigger the buzz and the bigger the views. If Russo goes completely off the rails, it can only help publicize Sean Oliver's relatively new podcast. In the early going, that's exactly what he should want.

There is definitely a scale - no one is saying otherwise, or at least I'm not - but surely you can see that Myles isn't helping himself by being so hypocritical. Don't get me wrong: I'm no fan of Jay Lethal - he's allegedly a sexual predator - but this still isn't a good look for Myles.
