Agreed. He looks like Justin Bieber with black hair. (Edit: What Bieber looked like when he first became famous, not Bieber now.) With that said, I think the match "made" him. Yeah, that was downright bizarre. What is their gimmick exactly? That So Cal is the best place to live? So, basically, they're the American version of the Shining Stars? Agreed. I had no idea who they were. AEW needs to realize that most of these people are not stars outside of the indie rasslin' bubble and need to be introduced properly.

Agreed, and the irony is, I forgot J-Lo was even in the movie. Either her scenes were severely cut because of the backlash at the time or it was always intended to be the twist that she wasn't in the movie for long. Anyway, AEW... I caught some of NXT - Adam Cole vs. Riddle (which was good), the Finn return, and the Ciampa comeback - and AEW felt like the fresher, hipper, more interesting show to me. Not necessarily fair to compare, of course, when I didn't watch the entirety of the NXT show. But still... Either way, this is a great time to be a wrestling fan.

And when there were hot women in the crowd during the Monday Night Wars, absolutely none of them were there for the goofy Disco Inferno, whose real life face somehow looked like a caricature drawn by a street artist.

What?! For the record, I've enjoyed Kevin Smith's movies (well, not all of them) more than I've ever enjoyed an Asuka or Pac match. *Shrug* Truthfully, even something like Jersey Girl (which I have a soft spot for but has its detractors) was better than 99% of WWE programming has been over the past five years.

There's your answer there. Twitter in general is pretty negative and toxic. I'll agree with this much. He's not a star. He will never be a star. Currently, he's beating stars, which is an issue IMO. He can be a good heel gatekeeper type, but that's his ceiling. Doesn't mean AEW won't force him into a higher spot, but it won't ever work.

Asuka has barely been used all year, and pretty much no one cares anymore. Even PWO can't be bothered to give much of a fuck. Mauro is universally considered good outside of PWO, so you might want to step outside the PWO bubble for a bit. PAC is a "good hand" but he's a lower midcard guy who has never been particularly over, certainly doesn't warrant a major push, and feels like a wasted signing compared to all the better ways that money could've been used.

I disagree. PAC shouldn't have won either match (or gotten signed in the first place, but that's another story for another day).

Great show so far, but Page vs. PAC has easily been the worst match so far. Not sure why they signed PAC, TBH.
